Great choices for a comparison video, and good job!! However, the background music was so annoying to me that I had to scroll forward to the results…..sorry. 😩

Nice comparison test. I’m having trouble getting started on the rinseless though. All my cars are coated, and thus far I’ve found it easier to just load up my foam cannon with Bilt Hamber touchless. Spray, rinse, DI rinse, quick blow dry and done.
@@MrSfdude That is what it's all about... You have a system that's working for you AND you're getting great results AND you enjoy the process. I would like to try some Bilt Hamber products, mainly Touch-less and Trace-less. Keep doing what you're doing and have fun doing it!
I still just dont picture myself ever using rinsless and hate the sponge application but out of these....they all work, so I would have to go Detail Co for the win because the price point is half of these others approximately and it works just as good. I personally just don't see the time savings....slower to apply, still have to spray it on, let it dwell, and then have to towel dry instead of blowing. Tried a buddies rinseless and it was actually slower time wise than my typical method using a foam cannon. It has some uses like in super cold freezing weather or drought conditions I suppose. But you could just bucket wash the old way in those situations. I just don't see it as some incredible innovation worth investing much in like others do. I dont see it as superior in any way to foam rinse, foam, quick bead type of product, blow dry. I don't know any pro detailers in my area using it for anything either. We all look at it as a new youtube fad/obsession. I got interested in it for use on motorcycles but after testing on my own, went back to my old method.

Like I keep saying. These top premium brands are all the same. Influencers have to stop saying X product is by far the best. It’s BS.

If you like Nemesis, you will like Hydra also. Surfactant rinseless is my jam. Dry off is always better. High humidity, you will start losing patience for polymers. Those streaks you thought flashed off, will come back. Let's also realize, unless you used four drying towels, Nemesis was last, and still dried the best. good vid man, thanks.
@waterhose4130 I also prefer the hybrid rinseless wash over polymer-heavy ones. I used the four different sides of the towel. Yes, by the end, it wasn't staying as neatly folded as I was flailing around with one hand and trying to record with the other. I've got some better tools for future videos.
@@AMI_Detail nah, nothing wrong with the video. A lot of you guys do a great job with one hand tied behind your back. I have bad leg and back issues after Covid, boo hoo right? I definitely look for products that just work well, and I don’t have to chase around to get an excellent result. A great pre wash, a great rinseless, great drying towels, easy to use toppers, it’s all a priority to me. I only have enough leg lately to not have to finesse a product, to get the best results from it. Products like Hydra & Nemesis, BC3, Griot’s Surface Wash, 303 Touchless Sealant for wheels, Darkside, all stuff I go to regularly. But, yes, I like to try new stuff, and coming from a small business family, I prefer the little guy who makes products, and actually are there to answer questions. Someone who cares if you, some nobody to them, actually has an opinion on what they sell.
Would it be best to use a foam sprayer vs a sprayer?
@@brandonnguyen1486 I've played around with foaming v1 of DIY Detail... works pretty well, but ultimately, just getting the chemical onto the surface is the goal.

@@brandonnguyen1486I have both and my preference is the dreadnaught. I actually prefer having two medium sized (18 x 24) over one larger towel. I think I'm subscriber #43. Great video. I can confirm, after using DIY Rinseless v2.0 yesterday, that I noticed a different water behavior. I saw water trails as I was gliding the legacy sponge across the pane. The water didn't pool together like v1.0 Still, was easy to dry. Slick.
Glad I'm not the only one who saw that change with v2.
A fellow Iowan! Nice video. Happy to see an independent opinion with these products. Too many insider reviews or guys that review stuff that sell a certain group of products. My first rinseless wash was P & S Absolute and I liked it but over about 3 months it was separating out and that bugged me. Never sure if I was getting the proper amount of solids (which I assume are the polymers that help lubricate) to the more clear liquid. I recently started using ONR Version 5. It is ever so slightly less slick but it leaves less behind. Absolute had a very very slight haze under specific lighting. ONR dries faster though. Overall I am going to switch to ONR because it is homogenous....doesn't separate out like Absolute. I like consistency. Hoping Meguiar's releases a rinseless wash at SEMA 2024 in a few weeks.....with the market trend they are behind if they don't.
@dboenish Thanks for the comment, neighbor. These rinseless wash products are all so good, but you really don't find ANY on retail shelves. Maybe if the big boys would pay attention to what all of these start-ups are doing, rinseless wash options would be offered to a larger buying group. There are many detailers out there that only shop local and therefore have very limited options. I truly believe what Eddie and Jamie are doing with thehouseofrags.com will expand the availability to that many more around the World. Having discount bundles that you can mix and match from different companies, mean you could get four great products at a very reasonable price. Still, not the same as walking into a store and walking out with instant gratification knowing you are heading home to use your new product that afternoon. SPOILER ALERT: You usually end up with inferior products and actually pay more than if you just wait for the good stuff.
Fun test Jason! Thanks for including us all in this test. Some great companies here, and good people behind them! Bradley and DJ from ADS, Nick and Yvan from DIY Detail, and Eddie and Jamie from Detail Co are all great humans! Like you said, we are at a point in time where there are many top tier rinseless washes now, compared to just 2-3 years ago! I have tested all of these and I can also confirm you can’t go wrong with any of them. I can tell you genuinely like detailing and geeking out on things like this and I am the same way hehe. I wish your channel much success!
@@PanTheOrganizer I'm glad to have offered an independent review. I am so impressed with the quality products that all of you have created! One gap that I see is trying to buy ANY rinseless wash at retail stores. Next vacation, I am bringing a 4 oz travel size of rinseless wash, sponge, small bucket, and drying towel. Use a hybrid method at a coin wash then follow up with my own bucket wash.

Hey Pan, I've noticed that clean rinseless is attracting quite a bit of dust and it doest want to come off when i blast It with air(master blaster). I live in a pretty dusty area, but other rinseless don't attract as much dust or is easily blown off.
For me HERO is #1, DIY 2. Everything else is good but these both are great. Love using Absolute and ONR as well. Gonna try Nemesis for their Black Friday sale!

Have you tried Phoenix EOD Hydra 3.0 or KCx RRW? I prefer them over Hero, although you definitely can’t go wrong with Hero or any of these! Like many have said, pick one or all and enjoy!
@@pNoyr3D That's another vote for Phoenix EOD. I'll add that to my list... But just starting with 16 oz! I did pick up Peleus and look forward to using that.
@@AMI_Detail 16oz will be more than enough to form an opinion and I have yet to try Peleus since I don’t really use panel preps too much, however I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Titan if you haven’t tried that yet.
@@pNoyr3D I ran out of DIY Detail Panel Prep and I needed some for prepping glass for coating and tire prepping for ADS Ghost. My order of Peleus came in just as I stretched the last few drops of DIY. I'll check out some videos on Titan. Seems like I've seen quite a few Instagram reels featuring Titan.

So this is similar to Stars and Stripes? Foam on acidic and then foam on the basic and then wash off only at the end?
@@johns4407 I don't have confirmation, but it worked for me on a not-so-dirty vehicle. I plan on recording a video with before and after shots when I try this method on our company truck.

@@johns4407 I have new buckets scheduled to arrive on Tuesday. To come up with 4 buckets (and somewhat color match with products) I used what I had on hand. That bucket has been around since the 90's.
Great Vid! Ive been liking the ADS Hero but may try Detail Co. for a comparison someday. What your favorite sponge between the two? I had been using the last of my gold sponges so need new.
Great vid - thanks for the comparison of some of the highest profile rinse-less products on the market at the moment. Couple of suggestions for future vids.. 1. when doing comparisons, it might be easier to initially set out a list of criteria for each product to test against, not for point scoring but maybe to help you to clearly structure your own impressions/experiences and conclusions. 2. When commentating, just try to cut down on the umm’s and err’s. Thanks again 👍
@@scowil456 You are right on. There were plenty of more umm's in the cut footage. After trying my hand at video production for this first video, it really gives you an appreciation for the vloggers out there that make smooth, informative, and engaging videos. These early videos have been a bit painful to edit and I am most surprised to figure out I have an accent. I'm one state away from a full blown "you betcha"! Thanks for the feedback.

One thing I noticed with DIY V2 RW on a car that had no protection at all, the paint stayed wet a lot longer and it wasn’t as easy to dry off. The water just pooled on the surface. Granted it had tons of road film and hadn’t been cleaned in who knows how long. Afterwards the car looked 10x better and shinier. I can’t wait to try Nemesis. My car just went through hurricane Milton and there’s tons of road film on it. I also have Pans RW as well, if it’s good in the sun it may be my go to.

@elonsus9747 It's heartbreaking to see the devastation from Milton. I'm glad you're safe. You are right on with your analysis. The subtle differences is what made things interesting. Overall, these four products had outstanding results. Using them in different situations will probably make sense to use one over another to take advantage of the differences.

@Ecdetails If my daughter had her way, HERO wins every time... She loves the scent. I had to overrule her vote to try CLEAN in direct sunlight... Still had to break it down to panel by panel as the sun just bakes everything on dark blue paint. It's ALL awesome! Congrats on the products and it's great to see you building a global distribution network!

@@armourdetailsupply With Winter coming, I'll be using my stockpile of rinseless wash as weather in Iowa sucks for 2-3 months.
Or just do what I did and buy practically all of them! I just switch it up as I feel like it. Currently in the cabinet: ONR V4 ONR V5 ONR Wash and Wax V3 McKee's N914 DIY V1 DIY V2 Idrosave (w/Preludio Alkaline & Acid) Feynlab V3 Hydra V3 Absolute KCx Rrw Hero Nemesis CLEAN. Rinse-Less

The thing you see with diy and nemessis is the coating rejecting the rinseless. This means the car is clean and the coating underneath shines ;)
@FelixBouchardDetail Yes, rinseless (and traditional foam) acts differently on a coated surface. It's awesome that all of these products leave a clean car that lets the coating shine. I was trying to demonstrate the subtle differences as I have seen the same differences when using these products on my un-coated Bronco Sport. Just an observation... not really a performance difference. The only real differences that I saw was dry time, but again... very subtle and can be used to customize the situation. I washed my daughter's car outside and in the sun... I went for CLEAN as it seems to hold up to those conditions a bit better. It just seemed to fit the situation. I don't have a comparison in that case, but I can report that it worked great and I still had to break it down into smaller sections as the sun on dark paint sure does bake things rather quickly.

Very interesting video and while all 4 appear to be top notch rinseless washes, if Nemesis is as slick or slicker than the other 3, it may be the best when you look at price and how it appeared to flash off quicker. Nemesis is quite a bit cheaper than all those others which is really surprising. I've used ADS Hero (and to be honest I didn't think it was super slick), P&S Absolute (It's slick, but tends to streak more and the pre-soak didn't clean as well as Hero or RRW), Koch Chemie RRW (might be my favorite so far, just need to use it a few more times) and I was looking to try Clean, Nemesis, DIY and Ethos, but after seeing this, I may just order a gallon of Nemesis and call it. Thanks for the comparisons...
@@deadshrub I loved the combo of DIY v1 followed with Ceramic Gloss as a drying aid. When I tried a similar process with HERO, I was very disappointed. After watching a few more videos with HERO, I decided to nix the drying aid and started to realize that the hype was true. With the popularity of HERO, I believe it's a great baseline for comparison. You are right on the value, as well. Nemesis is almost half the cost of CLEAN Rinse-less Wash... WOW!
@@AMI_Detail maybe that was my problem.... I need to reuse hero w/o a drying aid. Have you tried RRW from Koch? it's another great one.
@deadshrub I have not tried ANY Koch Chemie products YET. I know there are some really good ones... I've been busy with DIY Detail, ADS, Labocosmetica, Chem-X, NXTZEN, and now throw in CLEAN and Detail Co... Too much of a good thing, eh?

@@AMI_Detail The best advice I can give you is focus on telling a good story and picking topics people are interested in (like you did here). Microphones (and lights) are a great investment but gear in general can be a distraction. I learned this the hard (and expensive) way. Good luck with your channel.
