Truth be told I tried to make this a Harry gets superpowers stories, but I couldn't come up with a logical way for Harry to encounter any of the DC Universe Speedsters. So I did what I do when I can't get a story to Gel, I reread the Canon books, and there my way to link the Speedsters to HP, only through Ron. The Accountant relative the Weasley's don't talk about. I decided he was Rudy West, the father of Wally. Before all the Manhunter nonsense in the DCU, Rudy was an accountant.

I like your take on the Fifth Act. It's funny because what you refer to as the "second act" was actually my favorite part. I thought Cloud being captured kind dragged on a bit to be honest but the climax made it all worth it. IMO the storytelling in the entire story was just phenomenal and made reading the parts I found a bit boring still very enjoyable.

Do yourself a favor and get an emulator and the original trilogy. I also highly recommend Outbreak file 1 and 2. They were meant to be multiplayer but are easily playable offline and play similar to the original 3.

I'm about 4k words from finishing chapter 18 of Distaff Side (and yes you're pronouncing it right, it basically means 'of or for women') and think it will be all done in chapter 19. I haven't touched Omniverse in a while, but I do have the outline going. The next chapter will be poking fun at all the variations of Harry out there. Technomage is progressing, the next chapter will be (I hope) out in August.
