@OD__ turns out this only works for one session, and the game returns to being inconsistant again. I'm not sure why maybe if you have finished the game and loaded every zone already it will stay fixed seems the more you explore and add new zones the more you have to restart the game to get the performance back.

It didn't fix anything. You can literally still see it saying packet burst as you're saying it's fixed. It literally starts as it's counting down... maybe it made it more playable for you, but it didn't fix your packet burst problem

Mate get a grip, it’s smoother, I couldn’t play the multiplayer before it was unplayable, packet burst and latency variation none stop, now I have no issues. I can play to my hearts content, shame for you I guess 🤷‍♂️

I’ve got a 3070 mate, the hardware is more than adequate to run cod, this method worked for me hence why I posted it, from the response of the video it’s not helped a tonne of people but it has helped some.

@@OD__ no, since my settings were already on that it obviously isnt going to make a difference, even tried playing a match with it on optimized, no difference, swapped it back and still didnt work so i guess i will just not be able to play bo6 for a while

Tbh mate don’t really play cod games much, never come across this issue in the older games, not on really!

Wow that sucks, I had zero issues on zombies, it’s multiplayer I’ve had my issues tbh. Not good when people have to play a lot of money for these games and the vast majority of people can’t play the game how it’s supposed to be!!!

@OD__ it really is. I play on solo or with my girlfriend at home and either way is utter bs with the random "pauses" in graphics

Apparently it does affect the graphics but I’m not gunna lie, I can’t tell at all. It won’t majorly decrease your graphics regardless 👍

I know mate that was a fuck up on my part, at the end of the video I explain this, once I restart my game and played whilst not recording my video there wasn’t any packet burst, plus even in that instance the game play was far smoother, than the first game which was unplayable!

Yeah I get you, I did say that there was none, at the end of the video I stated that I didn’t see the icon flash up, but nonetheless turning this setting down has helped my performance massively as the multiplayer is now playable for me, whereas before I couldn’t play it because I was lagging and freezing every minute or so, I don’t get any of that anymore 😁

All i can say is turning that feature down has actually made the multiplayer playable for me whereas before I couldn’t even get through a single game!

My multiplayer, however, consist of getting latency variation and stutters etc. Always at the wrong timing, like in a gun fight rip. My multiplayer experience isn't great in terms of smoothness. Had the same on MW3. Internet is fine, playing with a cable etc. I am around a 1.80-2.00 k/d (not too brag), but it searches for games way out of my ping. On mw3 around 70-90 ms+ :/ Dont know if its to blame on the SBMM or something else. Europe does have it own servers, doesn't make sense for me to play on a American server for example.

@starKiller-co9nz needs to get fixed quick. Some matches it'll show up and run fine. then I'll have a match where I rubber band and can't even move. I'll go back to playing metaphor until this is fixed.

Thanks mate! Yeah I’m digging the medievil setting also, think the combat is lacking atm but it’s extremely cinematic with the big eikon battles etc which are very eye catching/entertaining 😁

Yeah it’s not what you want when you buy something for £50ish and there glaring problems with it, they must have tested it before hand and seen this issue but still choose to release it in this condition that’s the most frustrating thing!

Yeah I’m the same, not fully cured it but it does help, I think it depends on your hardware because some people have said it’s completely fixed the issue, where as for me, it’s just made the stutters less frequent.
