The title says it. While in Montreal, I decided to do some railfanning, but due to severe time constraints, this is all I got. The location is west of AMT Lucien L'Allier Station, just past the overpass. CN 435 in the Don Valley

After a very long 2 hour wait for it, I caught the daily CN 435 on the Bala Sub in the Don Valley. Considering that this is the only freight that uses this line during daytime, the wait was sure worth it! And what a long mixed consist that was too..... BTW thanks to the engineer for the horn action :)

Decided to go do some railfanning in the Don Valley during the afternoon rush-hour. Featured are 3 northbound GO Richmond Hill trains, 2 GO deadhead trains (that were in service earlier), and the southbound ONR Northlander. Still no luck getting the horn from the Northlander :(

Action on the CP North Toronto Subdivision @ Millwood Road First train is an autorack/intermodal mix consist led by loco 9704 with 8852 providing additional power in the middle of the train. After the construction and controversity of the Right-Of-Way, the 512 tram has finally re-opened. It truly shows how wrong the business owners were to protest against the ROW, since this tram line runs SO MUCH BETTER in its' own reserved lane than in mixed traffic, and mixed traffic is something which sadly most of Toronto's tram network runs in.

Yes that's the plan, by the end of 2023 after more than 35 years of service, TTC Line 3 (Scarborough LRT) is slated to be decommissioned and demolished and will replaced with an extension of the existing Line 2 Bloor-Danforth subway, since the extension won't open until 2030 at the earliest, buses will be used in the meantime.

Great video! I am hoping to make a gopro cycling video soon, I have the handlebar mount and the adhesive helmet mount, not sure which one to use though. The weathers been too bad to film where I live, I am waiting for blue skies (probably wont be seeing them soon though) :). Did you film this with the original GoPro Hero or one of the HD Hero cameras?

@Kenster1025 I believe that there's a blanket horn ban across the whole city of Toronto. The only mainline crossing I know of in Toronto is Carl Hall Road on the Barrie Line, because that crossing has no gates. Correct me if I'm wrong, I'm only speculating here.
Great video! I think there are more trains in the late evening on the Belleville sub. I was camping not far from the line north of Kingston this summer and the trains seemed to be constant all night!

The Bala sub is notorious for people and teenagers crossing the tracks, it is either dog walkers or bike riders, they just don't get it.
Is there a horn ban on the Bala sub? Since they don't seem to blow their horns.

You Russians obviously don't know why we have those streetcar tracks on what you claim "small streets". See, these tracks were set here more than 100 years ago. We only have 3 routes on dedicated right of ways. The rest are mixed with other traffic. It's mostly because of Toronto's history with streetcars.
