Sat here after literal hell in elden ring dlc. This right here is a HUB. The ambience makes me feel safe. Considering the world around me is going to shit, this place feels like it'll be untouched.

Just wish I could escape the confinements of this world. my dream is just to explore medieval fantasy worlds and forget all worries, just mesmerized by the beauty of the vast magical world I’m in. Majula would be a good place to start…

The traces of the original Firelink Shrine theme from DS1, through the similar notation and instrument choice, really drives home the eerily familiar yet otherworldly atmosphere that permeates the entirety of DS2's DNA.

I was never the biggest fan of Dark Souls 2. But man, Majula just hits different. It has such a special feeling to it that even Firelink Shrine, Hunter’s Dream and the Nexus lack

I was genuinely shocked when I saw him, glad he wasn't as famous as plin plin plon, I think both have the same thing going on but they did two different decisions, if I never knew that gwyn was this weak it would have been much better, I never saw many videos about vendrick , and I thought vendrick was the velsdat boss fight but I realized that he wasn't , I was expecting to go in there and find bonfire and a fog, a boss fight, but we'll , he is just a husk of himself, it was so shocking and emotional at the same time, and I like he doesn't even notice you , he is just wandering around, and his name appears when you aggro him, it's not king vendrick, It was just vendrick, that's when I realized even if DS2 has many flaws like other souls games have, it still is a great game and nothing is perfect, everything is imperfect, and that's when I knew how hard DS2 is slept on just for a little bad decisions and artificial difficulty fromsoftware added

People say ds2 is worst, while it has its own faults like less s, adp stats, bs hitboxes and worst enemy placement, its still a great game, i wouldn't be playing this if i wasnt enjoying the game, for me its an 7.9 /10 , the game could have been much better if there more referneces to ds1 like ds3 had. If only the bosses were as good as the dlc bosses.......... Damn , i miss this shit already

DS2 should definitely get more love that it does. The journey is much more personal to the player character, and it has some great atmospheric set pieces.

As much as i'm not a fan of ds2 It really does a good job and making you feel as though centuries have passed since the first game,all the fire keepers are old krones sitting around a table,our main character is alone in this world,with everything being either hunters of undead or hostile to us for other reasons,most commonly madness,dark souls is a grim bloody fable with an unhappy bloody end and ds2 is really good at making you feel like that's the case,everything else is trash though lol...

I picture the goat simulator dance is perfect for this track.

The thing i love about dark souls 2 is that it really shows the true horror of hollowing slowly losing your memories until there is nothing left its done especially well with Lucatiel and the fear she felt of losing an insignificant thing called self

There is something very very outstanding about this ost.

When I first heard about Dark Souls, I thought I would hate it because I didn't really like sword fight type of games. I said fuck it and bought DS2 for the PS3. Once I heard this song, I instantly fell in love. It gives the feeling of a long, difficult, deadly, dangerous journey that I got ahead of me. This was my first Dark Souls game and I am very fucking happy I bought it that day.

Funny thing is, I hated Dark Souls 2 for the longest time, but once I finally decided to "git gud", I began to understand how beautiful it truly was

What is the benefit of my existence, what is the meaning of my presence in this universe, and what is the benefit of my actions, whether they are good or bad?What after death, is there a reckoning, is there torment or heaven, will I be held accountable for the bad things I have done, and will I be rewarded for the good things I have done, or will I repeat the words of the ignorant who are closed to their minds that there is no god for this universe?
