Thanks for sharing your thoughts. The initial depth assumption is already based on deflection criteria. But still if we want to check it again for deflection with actual provide steel area, we can do it to get more confidence in the design.

Is the reinforcement mentioned in the torsion in the different corners are the gross reinforcement? Bars are coming ftom two different direkction on the top and bottom. Will those be included while accounting for torsion reinforcement?
