I have been wanting to do this since I got my Jeep. Just have the Speedo actually match what is outside.
I know it is not necessary but I wanted it changed.

In this video I will explain my process of installing a Kill Switch on a JL Wrangler, This will also be the same on a JT. I am strugling trying to install it on my 2 doors. Any tips?
Hi, on a 2door all the steps would be the same. Except the front would be over the freedom panels. I would say build and bolt down the sides first with the freedom panels removed and hard top loose and then get someone to help you and lift the top part on.
My dude. This video was a lifesaver. Pos doesn't come with instructions. You saved me an aneurysm. Great instruction. I made this fit my 2 door jk. Needed to redrill the holes on the mounts and cut the sill frames down 15mm but it worked like a charm. Great looking rack. Again. Great video. Thanks a bunch.

there is one more question, can you take off front roof panels with the rack and rear roof one the jeep
Do you still like this roof rack? And i was wondering also, if the mounts that go under the hard top crewte a permanent gap between the hard top and body of the jeep.
Hey man. I am not using it anymore but the rubbers actually sealed very good never had any leaks back there. I would suggest properly painting it though as it, mine wasnt properly coated. And I have seen may others who has had some bad rust on it.

Did you have an issue with a gap between the hardtop and jeep body? We are installing now and have a gap on ours.

Hi this was just the Rubicon bumper winch plate. I am not sure if it has a part number. I think any winch plate could work as long as it is in the bumper

Hi, I have made a video on how I installed it as well. But I actually put the sides on first if I remember it right. but I would say loosen the steps and put it on the top with an extra set of hands.

The only clean job I have seen so far. I want to do this but relocate the solenoid and hopefully only trim for free wheel switch

Hi, I think it will work, strapping it down will just be a thing, and your height will be significantly higher. Just check if you are OK with that.
one of the cleanest setup I ever seen so long, I really like to put in mine like this but i like mud so in the inne r fenner are impossible to keep clean and the short air tube in the box in my setup arent accesible because platform with fridge on it... maybe need to readjust better my setup to copy your smart solution!!!! and i love love love the 3d print for air breath (if I've have your skill i will ad a 12v source/socket because for me arnt never enought!!!
Thank you! You could always have pipes go to your seats and just connect a shorter pipe to each wheel. Or have connector on your bumpers

can this roof rack stand your roof tent without any problem ? does it bend the rain gutters? what is the laoding capacity of the roofrack ? did you have to put extra aluminium rail slots to install the tent into your current roofrack?
Hi, I had my RTT on it yes and I used the tents mounting bars and added a hole here or there but it worked well! I did not add anything else. It bent my Gutters because a body shop put it back incorrectly and I did not check. but It will hold up. Mine did.
I had a JK in Egypt and what i did was just install a switch on the power side wire going to the accelerometer / gyroscope located in the center console (center of mass of the jeep). Will that work still?
On thr JK yes it will but not on the JL they changed the wiring

Hi yes they go into the same wire I split the wires behind the dash so they combine. So I have one transformer going into multiple lines.

I would buy it again to be honest. I just sold my JK. They do tend to start rusting a bit but nothing a bit of spray paint can not fix

How did you mount tent?
Hi, When I did mine I put it on the roof rack and marked where the tracks would be, and then drilled holes into the rack.
Is that was the ambient light dial is for on my jeep i for the life of me dont know what that knob does

Hi @@ljvrdll I did yes I had Mine mounted on this you just need to drill a few holes in the rack and then your good to go.
My coworker gave me one but I’m not sure if I have to make cut outs in the rear bumper so it’ll mount to the frame

Hi, I dont think so as the roof rack does leen on the roof rails of the hard top, but I am sure you might be able to make a plan if you really wanted.
Hi. love the things you have printed. What 22 is my guess.
this video was a huge help in installing since i had no instructions ......had to do a bit of a modification and slide back (had to drill new holes) about 8" to accomodate and be able to open without hitting the sunrider soft top....hangs over a bit in the back but looks great on the jeep

What 3D printer would you recommend for a beginner? Why would you recommend it, and what filament type are you using? Thanks in advance for your thoughts!
Hi Mark. I would say a good starter printer could be the ender 3. It has a lot of support and is an easy enough printer to manage. Depending on the parts I use ABS or PETG, I havent found an affordable ASA yet. But to prototype I use PLA as its the easiest to work with as well. ABS is the most finiki as it warps easily.
