I love your channel and watching you work but hate when you use a soldering gun to remove and replace electronic components. A 25 to 30 watt iron with a selection of tips would be much better.
What's wrong my friend ?.. I have a 20-30w soldering iron but it's very weak and takes time.
I normally use a temp controlled soldering iron when working in the workshop, I use a 30 watt iron generally if working at a customers property and a 100 watt gun for joining wires or repairing valve radios. We were always taught that you should never use a gun on a printed board because it's too easy to destroy the pcb due to excess heat .

Simple little circuit but effective, if it used 2 white LEDs it would make a good comfort light for a child's bedroom at night 👍. I love your workshop, it's organized chaos as a proper workshop should be.

Great job, nice to see someone actually soldering the lead in wires to the coils and insulating them properly. So many just twist the wires together and use insulation tape.
We're really alike in what we do, if it's Electrical or Electronic I'll do my best to repair it. You have the advantage, you can rewind motors which is something I was never taught so have to either replace or send for repair. Keep up the good work, I enjoy your channel & wish you every success.
