It's my weird hobby to haul studio mics around the drum corps lots. This year in Denton TX I got really lucky to witness the Crusaders warm up in a beautifully quiet corner near the Apogee stadium. Lovely echo and almost no battery bleed from the drumline warmups nearby. Very pleased with the recordings I was able to capture of this magnificent hornline! This short film was written, shot, and edited within 48 hours and submitted to compete in the Austin 48 Hour Sci-Fi Film contest. We submitted with only 6 minutes left! Everyone involved with the Angry Bumblebees team put in 100% and it shows! Very proud of this beautiful video. Enjoy!
