Just wanted to add a thank you for the video. Got mine back up and running, only lost one screw out of the 80 they used to hold the thing together 😂. Oddly the replacement dial i ordered doesnt have the detents when i spin but it does still go up and down incrementally instead of jumping all over the place so its all good.

I'm almost 100% sure that the resistor in this video is 2.4ohm and present on all 4 phases of the CPU power section. All fed by the same rail. I even took one off to test resistance out of circuit.

Please make sure to put your JBL Partybox volume at 100% and then control it from the mixer. That's the only way to achieve the best volume. Also if Partybox is plugged it will sound louder!

The sound you hear maybe a water hammer that is causing the plastic tubing to ALSO hit the wall. I replaced the plastic line with a stainless steel, braided line and it didn't solve the problem...hammer was still pronounced when refrigerator was moved out away from wall and water line couldn't hit wall. I then took out the crisper drawer and shelving so I could put my ear down next to the water filter. Sure enough, the banging was coming from inside the filter housing. Turns out, there is a little valve inside the the housing, where the water filter mates with the housing, that apparently doesn't want to open fully in time. Installing a new housing (bought on line for $150) solved the hammer sound. Installation wasn't hard (RUclips videos shows you how), and can be done by anyone willing to put in a little effort...you don't need to be mechanically inclined.

Nice job - the amount of tabs worries me on the tailgate but clearly it's doable. I have a trim removal toolkit, hopefully it helps! Some longer screwdrivers with interesting clawlike tips....will see, probably a DIY job for this weekend in addition to installing splashguards!

It's a common issue with the touchbar Macbook Pros. It's called Flexgate. It's the ribbon cable that comes from the logic board to the screen. It can be repaired, but it's very difficult. I wind up just buying a cheap Macbook Pro from ebay for $335 and replacing the screen.
