Garden clean up continued | garden bed prep | Lawn clippings as mulch
Просмотров 57 часов назад
Today we uncover the mower to collect lawn clippings We are using the chop and drop no dig method to prepare the garden beds for their next season of planting. This involves clearing the bed, putting the chopped up leaves and debris on the garden and then placing a thick layer of grass clippings on top to make the most beautiful microbe rich black soil for the next planting

Believe me, they get out of the vacuum cleaners
I tip them outside out of the vaccume
Why did you have to kill the spider? There are other ways that are humane to get them out of your home,
The humane way was getting in the vaccume, he chose the spray
Nice beans 😊

정원의 펜스와 정원식물을 가꾸는 모습을 영상으로 공유해주셔서감사해요. Thank you for sharing the video of the garden fence and garden plants. Baby plants are cute
Wow, Really impressive! 🧡💛💚💙
Thank you! 😊
Good job
People have praying mantis as pets and actually train them!!!
Oh my gosh!!! I ate the seeds of a sunflower I planted from birdseed!!! 😬 I'm so glad I know not to do that again. Why would they spray stuff on birdseed??? I'm sure the birds would rather no chemicals on,or in their food too!
Nice progress so far
Amazing ideas thank for sharing
Beautiful farming in outs of door
Awesome seed haul! I can't wait to see what your rock wall looks like with all the flowers 🌸
Thank you! Just praying they all germinate!

Thanks!!!
You need to make an apron pocket to tie around your waist to put things in as you pick
A good video with some interesting tips and methods that I will use when planting my strawberries. Thanks.
I, (aka mum) have been growing and making pickled beets for 20 years. I don't boil my jars, because our water is so hot-almost boiling. I dont water bath after, because the pickling vinegar is boiling when I put it over the beetroot. This makes everything sterile as long as you lid straight away. Will last two years in the pantry
*Wonderful gardening style, Wooooow!!! you are teaching me to be patient with plants,we will not get tired of watching this video, please don't stop gardening, continue like this, GO GO GO GOOOOOOOOOO!!!*
Thank you so much 💕
@@becs100organicgarden8 It was a pleasure to watch your video, and especially to be the first to leave a LIKE & a COMMENT
Had no idea that you could eat them like corn. I'm going to try making them the way you did. Thanks:0)

That looked pretty good. Your seeds were at a nice, tender stage. I like eating the unopened flower buds, too. Then they are more like artichoke hearts. If people have trouble growing artichokes, like in a more wet climate or with a short season, sunflower buds are a great substitute and it's easy to grow a lot of them, like you pointed out.
I have seen a video about eating buds too ! I think a variety that grows multiple heads would be best for that and it’s something I’d also like to try!
Great job Rebecca! What a wonderful video! I use sawdust from a local furniture maker as bedding it works well. I keep my bins unlevel so there are a variety of moisture choices for them. Best wishes!
Thank you for your comment! I would love to see a sawdust worm bin! Do you wet it all down first and squeeze it out? All the best with your worms!
Wow your raspberries are great!! I'm in Brisbane and can't grow them. Can I ask where you're at? Cheers
I’m on the Gold Coast! I’m growing them in the shady part of my garden, the soil is also very dry. The best success I’ve had is with boysenberry but it hadn’t fruited yet :)
Frankie helping. Love it. Be interesting to see what happens
Dang girl! Put in some work on those plants😁 beautiful fish too! Have a good one 👋👋
Cody Criss thank you 😊 thanks for watching 😁
Hey! Love the dinosaurs in the garden! I think you'd have more luck with the kratky if you used an inert medium for the net cups. You can get expanded clay or scoria from bunnings and it will be less of a vector for soil related diseases and pests such as the mites. This is because the soil will always be wet with kratky causing more problems. Keep the vids coming. They get easier every time. :)
Hoocho thanks for having a look! The Dino is my toddler girls but he’s my secret fave haha ummm yes I had thought it’s the soil messing things up! I have vermiculite and peat moss so have set up new ones with that mix. 😃
Dino’s were my favourite toys as a kid. She’s got good taste. The vermiculite and peat moss would work well.
I had thought to make my clothes or fun things, how does the pads not get stains?
