Portugal - Lagos & Sagres beaches and coves
If you enjoy the ocean, beautiful rugged coastline, beaches, coves and more beaches and coves, the Algarve region of southern Portugal delivers. At the town of Lagos, miles of scenic boardwalks, boat and kayak tours abound. Drive 35 minutes to Sagres for its spectacular sunsets and also surfing. When considering what time of year to visit, September was still pleasantly warm when this was recorded.

Salzburg is a wonderful experience! History, a fortress, cycling, walking paths, the home of Mozart, backdrop for the movie musical, "The Sound of Music". What more could one ask for? Grindelwald Switzerland in early September, 2023. Stunning mountain views both from below and on top. A great base to also visit nearby locations like Lauterbrunnen, Gimmelwald, Murren, Wengen and more. Take the local cable cars, trains up the mountains and/or hike with so much to see.

If you want to experience a ride on a classic steam train, take the tour. You get the classic "clackity-clack" sound and even some whiffs of coal. One of many things seen while touring Scotland in 2022.
The Fairy Pools - ISLE OF SKYE

The Fairy Pools in Scotland are one of many sites to see on the Isle of Skye. In fact, video doesn't do the Isle of Skye justice compared to being there in person. Both rain and sun produced one of many beautiful rainbows seen here in 2022, no doubt a common site amongst such grand and rugged terrain. A highly recommend stop along with many more.

Isle of Kerrera - Scotland 2022. What a beautiful location for a hike. After a 5 minute ferry crossing from Oban, you can choose different directions. In this case, a hike to Gylen Castle ruins was wonderful. Highly recommended if you like walking and beautiful scenery.
