Sir mai delhi mai rehta hu or mai kuch din pehle non-stop ride kr ke mathura gya tha or wha jaa kr meri bike say engine ke head cylinder say awaj ah rhi thi or maine yamaha service centre jaa kr tapped , timeing chain , camshaft,valve,piston yha tk ki crank bhi change kra diya cylinder bhi everything sab kuch change kra diya tb bhi meri bike say awaj ah rhi hai tak-Tak sound or yamaha service centre engineer ko bhi kuch smjh nhi ah rha hai kya krey. Please help me apke pass kuch upay ho bcoz merey 18-20k tk lg gay hai paise.my bike Yamaha fz 16 2009 model.

perfect sound man.... at max u may feel this is because your afr screw is jetting a bit more of rich petrol but its fine since it is new... dont worry .. your engine is in awesome condition

Hey John. This is a normal sound. Don't worry about it. Your bikes engine will become smoother by the time it hit's 10000 kms and this kind of noises fade away. It's the tightness of the new engine that gives this sound. I have FZs 16 and it gives the same noise. It's now 7000 odd kms and I can say, the engine is doing much better. the sound is changing smoother. Don't compare with other older engines, is what I can say. Just maintain it good and you should see good results. You need to worry only when engine makes odd noises like clicking or tapping. Otherwise, your bike engine is perfect!

mine (fzs 2013) also has the same sound. I guess it is the common sound of fz16/fzs. It even sounds worse when I go uphills with a pillion

check whether ur engine breather nut is tight sometimes u ride and its getting hot on ur engine and u nvr realise the eninge oil is leaking from it the lesser engine oil the more sound it is

Fz16 is a thumper bike. That's the normal engine sound
