Hi! Could you please advise, whether OrgChartHub works for your own company? I can easily add client-companies, but Hubspot doesn't allow me to add our team members to OrgChartHub
You mention that new Contacts, by default, are associated with the parent Company. Is that true for new Contacts that come in via HubSpot forms as well? I've found that HubSpot seems to be using some other algorithm that doesn't necessarily pair them with the parent Company, whether the domain is excluded or not. Appreciate any guidance you can offer here! :)

Very good stuff! How come we almost never hear about custom behavioral events? They came out last year without much fanfare it seems, and even with PLG motions becoming more popular, it seems you still hear more about using workflows to set properties in order to manage movement through a PLG pipeline than leveraging custom behavioral events. Thoughts?
You make a good point!! Solid reminder!! We need to look again at custom behavioural events in our HubSpot account. Perhaps this will kick start the next video :)
@@orgcharthub You can create lists based on custom events or their parameters, then enroll those lists in workflows (no direct enrollment from custom events yet). Additionally, you can create a score property and have positive criteria for certain in-product events. You can also roll these up to the company object if you want to do product qualified accounts.

Hi Giovanni, the dates shown are for the current deal stage eg) They have been in that deal stage since the date 10/10/2022 . I assume that's what you mean by updated, as in moved into that deal stage?

Great video, QQ though, this is great for deals that are a set amount (1 yr deals) but what if you have variable contract lengths to you your deals?.
Thank you Nick kind of you to say. Variable contract lengths is a tricky one, we actually use the same renewal pipeline for annual and monthly plans, as it helps us to see where a customer is on their journey with us, regardless of whether they are on a 1 year licence or monthly. Plus this still keeps all our customers in one view.
Why do you have the separate deal stage for Renewals, as opposed to putting the 2nd year deal straight into the 1-3 months stage?
Hi Thanks for the question. We did this to identify the customers that hadn't renewed on time and to keep focusing on them. Sometimes you don't get a timely decision from customers and so it rolls on a bit before you get a clear answer, so that stage helped in this scenario.
For the workflows which move the deal through the pipeline - shouldn't the enrollment criteria be Close date is less than x days from now? If the filter is ago, that would then only apply to deals with close dates in the past, right?
Hi Justin you are absolutely right, we altered this workflow once we spotted it a few months into implementation. I will make sure to adjust the video very soon, so its corrected.

Looks interesting. Can you, in effect, join Contact and Deal records together so that you can display map icons based upon properties drawn simultaneously from both? I.e display the locations of all Deals in stage "X" which have an associated Contact with a status of "Z"? Also - Do you require a complete address for mapping, or can you also map an address that is just a postal code?
Hi, thanks for the message, GeoMapper today can locate company or contacts from your HubSpot account. We do this by using the address data in the default HubSpot address fields in HubSpot for companies and contacts. You can setup any filters you want, like you do in HubSpot in regards to seeing companies that are in deal stage X and owned by Y. You can go as deep as you need to. It looks like you may be asking about mapping deals themselves, do you store address data on your deals? How do you change a contact after this, once they are assigned as Marketing or Non-Marketing, specifically we have Marketing Contacts created as they come into the Ticketing function that we do not want to assign as a Marketing Contact.

Hi David, great question, the way we do it today is create a list called marketing contacts. The list is created by filtering on "Marketing contact status" and then picking "Marketing contact". We review this list to change contacts to "non marketing contacts" when they no longer need marketing too. If you don't want your contacts to be auto assigned then I think it might be best to speak with the HubSpot Customer Success team. I hope this helps.

Hi Lee, thanks for the kind comment. You can use the reports section in HubSpot to build out a custom report. Go into the dashboard section in HubSpot, then click "create report". Then "create custom report". Pick "cross objects". Then you can plot deals and the contact field you created "referred by" against each other. I hope this helps :)
