The young characters are extraordinary, this is solid gold film making, despite a lot of cliches. Some of the themes may be rather worn out by similar stories, and a number of Geordies seem to have a problem with the boys accents, but being a softy southerner that is lost on me. A great little film, best taken with a pinch of salt, but why not?

Good post m8...What a fabulous 'geordie' film from the north...we kin the accent here in the midlands but I can imagine many english speakers having difficulty understanding...see english series 'when the boat comes in' for more lovely geordie accents from days gone by...❤
