Went out early morning to stilbay and try fishing for grunters on lures. I am not firmiliar with stilbay estuary but try my skills to find fish. Manage to land 2 grunter on topwater lures. Thank you. Useful information. Grunter on topwater is no walk in the park. When drifting the lure with the current, is the bale arm open or just very lose drag?
bale arm is close.but your drag musnt be to lose..other wise you cant set the hook properly..

good day..this was in stillbay..i think if you have a subsurface lure that would work maby.bait was defnitly better for the conditions.water was very dirty
Please do a video on how do you put your mud prawns on please because every time I am throwing my rod in the water my prawn is flying off

Jis Gerhard, nice! Ek nou gesubscribe. my 2 jr geneem om die topwater ding uit te figure. Ek darem nou so 30 grunts en stenies by witsand in totaal so gevang. Pienk werk altyd! Dis meeste nog wat ek gesien het in daai baai. Was dit voor die naweek se reen? Cheers Rudi
hi rudi...baie dankie dat jy gesubscribe het..die grunters was nou net voor die reen gewees..glo die rivier gaan nou weer taamlik varswater kry en water koud raak..gaan moeilik wees om hulle nou weer te vang..
