Mg Toyota Mitsubishi Isuzu Subaru Mazda
12 months ago. I thought of. changing my vehicle or upgrading. to a different type of vehicle, A 4X4 A small SUV. by another. Dmx. or possibly an Mux. My decision was not clear. So I started looking. I look from isuzu Toyota. across the whole range and this Nissan X trial forward ranger, Mitsubishi, Toyota Hilux. Ram. Volkswagen Suzuki. There wasn't one vehicle I didn't really look at. I had to. put a side. what I used to do. to what I do today. And that is I do a light 4x4 wheel drive on tracks, maybe. a little bit of beach work. but no Serious 4x4 driving anymore.

Thanks for watching. Thank you for your comment, I do appreciate all comments
Hey mate im not fussy but id always go with a ford
Thanks for watching.
Best small SUV I had was a Toyota RAV 4 two door. Drives like a small car, never broke down, got me everywhere. Should've kept it back then!
Yes, we have looked at the Toyota. And the Toyota Hybrid is on my list.. I do like the Subaru. XT outback. Do appreciate your comments too. Thank you..
Im a bit like you thinking about a new car but we are not going down to 1 car as you can guarantee you will want to go some where and the mrs will want the car and I know you have the Spyder just like me but when it happens it will pissing down with rain. So im thinking Suzuki S Cross all wheel drive mild hybrid or a bit bigger Mitsubishi Outlander all wheel drive petrol only.
Yes, I do agree with what you are saying. I reckon what will happen is. I will sell or trade in the DMX. and by another vehicle , and the wife shall keep her suburu and I will have my vehicle, whatever that will be. but I would not sell them. Spyder yet.
SUV? My short list would be Mazda CX-30, Toyota RAV4 Hybrid ( if you can get one used), Volkswagen T-Roc Style. We have a T-Roc which me and Sharyn love.
Yes, you are right, Locky. The Toyota RAV 4 hybrid is on the list. and the Mazda as well. Got a make up my mind. Which one?
@@gregbuck9679 Another one to look at is Kia Celtos GT Line.
Be carefull. It will drive you nuts. : )B
It is already driving me up the wall
Hey mate sorry to add 2 comments to this video but Ive had a few beers. What a dickhead the bloke you pulled out of the bog was. It doesnt take much to say please and thank you does it. You are a better bloke than I am for dealing with that.

@@gregbuck9679 Yea Ok. Thought you maybe because of the content. Didn't think it was just someone getting an interview. Enjoy, save riding.

We still catch up Sometimes just for chat and a cup of coffee. No bikes involved. Maybe you can do this too. Get in contact with some of your old mates from the MBMMC. Look forward to your future comments thanks again.🧦👍
Great to see! I'm a 60yo biker. Not a club member tho, but I love to hang around on big gatherings. A question about the bikes on the ferry : Do you just leave them on the side stand, or are they getting strapped down for heavy sea? Only been on a big ferry once (Germany to Denmark), but went there with my car and didn't pay attention to any bikes...
Thank you for watching and thank you for your comment. 3 times I have been to TAS on a bike each I have strapped my own bike down. But I have heard that if you don't, they will strap your bike down. There are straps on the side of the Boat. As you about to disembark You have to unstrap your own bike. Whether they did or you did. then destined the straps back up. I'm 65 Nearly 66. and absolutely love the camaraderie inside the military Brotherhood. between serving members and non serving members. We do not discriminate..
@@gregbuck9679 Thanks for your answer! I'm looking forward to the next video! Tassie has to be on my bucket list for (hopefully soon) retirement.
Wow what a great video. Sea looked a bit rough
Thanks for watching. Thanks for your comment.. Yes, a bit rough in spots. Very windy before entering Devonport Harbour but is a good passage. Good fun was head by young and old..

Hi Greg, Cas and I have been following your videos and we both love them. We were thinking maybe you could put a map for a few seconds every now and then so us no SA folk can have an idea where you are. Otherwise, keep pumping them out. We are really enjoying them.
Thankyou for watching , YES i have to start doing that.
Gwen & I have had similar thought s all the best & safe travels - look forward to a walk through video 👍
Hi Chris. Sorry for the long delay and slow reply. At the moment, Debbie and myself are thoroughly enjoying our choice to the motorhome. Lots of reasons There is definitely for's and against caravans and motor homes. But for us, there's more plus than against at.
Gday mate. Have you visited the Wanbi oval and Wanbi cemetery? What’s the go with your little trailer. Does it fold out to a camper?
Hi. sorry for the. long or late reply. I have been to Wambi. and I was quite impressed with the pub there, And the unused swimming pool out the back. but have not gone to the oval or the cemetery the next time up that way, because of your comments, I will. visit the cemetery and oval. Thank you. And sorry again for the. slow reply.
I hope you enjoyed the scotch and didn’t have a sore head the next morning. Also happy the tide didnt carry you and the motor home away. Cheers.
Thanks for watching. Thank you for your concern the wife didn't have that much concern about the tide coming, In fact she wanted it to come right in, and I said that's not very nice and she did not care. So what I have here is the grounds for a kicked out of home and she does not know it, hope she doesn't read this comment and by the way I have got a little bit of scotch left in the bottle not much but a little bit, Yes I can hear you from here, I will have to restock thanks for watching cheers.🧦🍾.
Nice vid Greg. You do get away and around.

Nice one, it looks like you will have many great adventures in your new home on wheels. Loved Charlie watching the paddle steamer go by, very cute.
Thanks for watching, yes we look forward to all our new adventures, Yes Charlie seems to be fitting in quite well in his new set of wheels. Hope you guys are travelling safe too cheers.
@@gregbuck9679 we are doing well, thank you 😊
Very nice vehicle.
Thankyou
Another great video dirty socks. I reckon you made the right choice going with the motorhome. I wouldnt have even thought about that security part of things.
Thankyou There is a lot of single people in motor homes and that is one of the biggest things or the first things they speak of security. The ease of finding free camping or accessible camping. And also a lot of them speak of the freedom of having just a set of wheels not having to tow no worries about Itching up and unhitching. And thankyou for watching.
Love the motor home. Cant wait for the first kicked out of home video in it
Thanks for watching. Yes I'll have to come up with another excuse to get out of the town or get out of the house. Or she might come up with 1 herself and tell me to get out , we'll have to wait and see.
p.s we hired motorhomes before we bought
Thank you for watching and thank you for your comment We were going to hire one before buying but they wanted $1000 to $1500 dollars for a week..😒. So we both said we like this one and brought the one we did. So far the motorhome wins hands down and we have no regrets. Our next video will be about pros and cons on caravans and motor homes, hope to see you then cheers dirty socks.
l have a sprinter winnebago l love it easy to drive easy to set you park your set up cheap to run 9 to 10 litres per 100 no stress driving you stop walk to the back make coffee and you're off again at night any trouble while parked at any rest stop you just drive off . the money we save on fuel we same time hire small cars to tour around places and the money we save on fuel pays for caravan parks specially on long trips would never tow a van
Thank you for Watching And thank you for your comment totally agree with all what you have said. Our next video will be the pros and cons on caravans versus motor homes hope to see you there cheers dirty socks.
Nice one Greg, and good choice motorhome.
Thanks 👍
I'm all in for a 4x4 towing a trailer, because I'd like to explore and leave the "home" in one spot. BUT you have a very good reason to get a motorhome! Being prepared for something unlikely to happen and being able to hand over the steering wheel is a good point! I'm looking forward to see your next video!
Thanks for watching and thanks for your comment. We have done quite a few years 4 x 4 camping roof top , With slide ons on the back of the Ute the camper trailer small caravans and bigger caravans so we're looking forward to our next Adventure with our motorhome. I think my next video will be the pros and cons of the motorhome so stay tuned.
Pretty rare the Wirraway's. We were parked next to one in Bunbury. Sharyn liked it. We will see how it goes. following your adventures. Cheers.
Thanks for watching and thanks for your comment. As you know have done many years of caravaning and camping rooftop tents camper trailers big caravans small caravans and so far we are enjoying the motorhome. Our next video I think it's gonna be about pros and cons, tents caravans and motor homes so stay tuned.
We enjoyed meeting you, Greg, drop in again at The Oven Murray Bridge
