I had to decide between Play Along and Wild Eyes. Isaiah and West were two of my fav book boyfriends. I voted for Wild Eyes because I was hooked from the bear scene in the beginning of the book.

What's the age gap in All Grown up, please? Also, To Sir, with Love by Lauren Layne has dual online/in-person dynamic. I've been feeling slumpy since I got back from vacation. I've been reading mostly old-school, before I was born, Archie comics. *lol* Also, I finally got around to reading Mindf*ck at the end of September and devoured it. I could justify them if they argued that they like counterculture, that they don't like popular, and that they want other types of stories that don't reflect the majority, but they don't look for them, they just stick with the same stories complaining that they don't give them what they want 😅... And on the other hand, negativity sells, if all they want is to sell, then the algorithm will reward them for being negative. And I agree, we have to protect the genre from all the people who only want to sell negativity. For decades, romance has been seen as something to be ashamed of, romance has sustained art for centuries, but in recent decades, it seems that the only "valuable" art are super serious movies or violent movies, when the golden age of cinema was full of romance. Romance is profitable and has nothing to be ashamed of 😊.

Some people have nothing better to do than spend their time focusing on things they don't enjoy just to get attention. In the age of "everyone's opinion is valid" it gives way to some people offering up their crappy opinions because they can talk 😂. I'm glad you shared your thoughts.

Through watching this collab i have discovered that i have indeed read so many dark books. "The Handmaids Tale," "The Counte of Monte Cristo," and even "The Hunger Games, ". Thank you for helping me to expand my thoughts on dark themes in books. I believe i have learned and felt so much while exploring dark themes in literature. Happy Reading 👻

Hello. I’m an audiobook crime thriller girlie. I’m trying to get into romance but I can not handle the expressive inflection in the voice actors voices. I’m looking for a more flat realistic cadence. Is that a thing? Any recommendations would be appreciated

Diana, I didn't love Emily Henry's earlier books but loved Happy Place and Funny Story. Lessons in Chemistry is one of my favorite books. I didn't like the changes in the TV adaptation-I wish they had remained true to the story.
