I loved this! Hearing about games I’ve never heard of. SpiritTea is wonderful, no farming at all, you have Japanese spirits you discover and run a bathhouse. It has beautiful Japanese imagery, seasonal Gods, and PANDAS! I can’t believe more people don’t like it.

There's some symbolism with using Dementus to plant the tree. The peach stone/seed that Mary gives to Furiosa is the only thing she has from the Green Place. And when Mary gives it to her she says "Plant this seed. Protect the Green Place. Promise!" which is both a fine bit of alliteration and also the motivation that Furiosa has for the rest of the movie. Get your ass home and look after it! Well she doesn't. Dementus catches her and imprisons her. Her blood is taken by the organic mechanic and she is later used as a commodity in a trade deal between Dementus and Immortan Joe. Dementus killed her mother and stole her away from her home, effectively hindering her from following her mother's instructions. Of course she's partly responsible since she runs back, but she's a child and her mother is being tortured. Give her a break. And now she's stuck in the citadel as a prisoner of another nutjob. And he's got some crazy, weird and creepy sons as well. So she has to go through all of that. Hiding. Disguising herself as a boy. Avoiding getting caught. Working as a dogman. Doing a stowaway. Getting caught. Being trained for road war. Becoming an imperator. All this to get into a position where she can, maybe, have a shot at getting back home. She even gets help from her partner, and then Dementus takes it all away again. This fucking guy. So when she finally catches him and has her shot at revenge. Using him to plant the seed and fulfilling her promise to her mother is extremely satisfying. It might not be the Green Place, but it's a little bit of the Green Place that she has with her. And that she can protect, until she makes it back home. It's something that gives her comfort, hope and determination until we get to Fury Road.

My favorite sound in unpacking is the noise the boxes make when you empty them. Such a satisfying sound ☺️ My friend and I played on the ps4, and it was a great experience.
