An old class project of mine that I made for a 16mm film class. We were given 24hrs each with the camera and could film anything we wanted with our roll of film. It was my first time using a film video camera and light meter but I'm still happy with this mini film I was able to create. What is the concept here?
Hey, thanks for your question: the concept is self-determined by the viewer-we wanted each person to relate to the piece in their own way. Hope that helps!
@@znavisuals I will be honest, it's not very inspiring for me as an audience member. Knowing that the artist herself doesn't have any particular vision that she wanted to express makes me feel like I'm watching some random movements in a location that was probably chosen out of convenience rather than some artistic idea behind it. For example - there's the rail, so let's go under it like kids do, because why not? So what do I feel about it? Nothing. This looks like something that is meant to look "artistic", but at the same time has no more depth than just that. Could I project all kinds of high octane artistic concepts on it? Yes but why would I? I can do that also to a picture of paint drying. In other words, why would I vibe with this if I know that it's all random and has no meaning? Edit: grammar
