Another great offbearer video. Beautiful lumber. I like that you called it facet cutting vs stop sign. I've preferred ever since Mark showed an old picture calling it facet sawing to try to stop all the negative comments. 😊
Thanks 👍

Genuine G-gracious, E-energetic, N-noteworthy, U-universal, I-inventive, N-natural, E-enduring. Being genuine to one's own self is one thing, but showing this condition to all others is yet a totally different observation as the perception is unique to each individual. Ergo the above acronym.
Thank you for your words always inspirational
I've gotten in the habit of watching Mark's video's first and then yours. I love the close-ups you have with your camera! Thanks for mounting it so it doesn't move. I get vertigo sometimes and the camera moving all over the place was not good for my eyes! This is much better. 😃
Awesome! Thank you!
Glad is was there to see that log sawn. Thanks for the fun Eddie.
I was glad you were there to help. Thank you. Look forward to you coming back
Eddie, you are about as genuine as a person can be and I'm proud to see you and watch your work.

Eddie said he was "on a ramble" but the way he was sitting there sorta squirming, I'd say (Grandma did too) that Eddie must be sitting on a bramble to squirm like that. WOTD: My sister Jen is a complainer, I tell her all the time "Jen You Whine"
Only from you Rich. Thank you for always watching
The bus motor needs a t-shirt!

That log probably could of been sold for Veneer
Yes it could have. It’ll bring a good dollar just the way it’s sawed. Thank you
@@TheEddie1014 oh for sure. Hold out for top dollar on that stuff. A couple 8/4 boards would of been really amazing
A big ole tree coming out of someone's yard with screws in it..... If only it can share its history and tell its stories in detail. Beautiful log it would make a nice pillar, and lots of other things. I was wondering, when you lay those sticks down between the layers of boards is there a type of wood you avoid using to prevent oxidation of the boards being dried? Is there a type of stick that is desirable for every type of wood?
Grandma says: Ash.
@@richparks1966 makes sense. Don't get stoned. Lol
@@anthonyhengst2908 Grandma is an old testament bible thumper, she says if you can get a magistrate to sign-off on an unruly kid, you can get the whole town in on a legal stoning. She had my magistrate paperwork framed, even made me a tee shirt with that on it..
@@richparks1966 sounds she leaves no stone unturned.... Ouch!
@@anthonyhengst2908 You're telling me? She used to travel to military artic airplane runways that had trouble with birds and tossed rocks at them, she left no Turn Un-stoned.
Good afternoon from Lincolnshire UK.
Hello Andrew
Beautiful grain. Where do you and Mark get these huge logs?

hi there good show best to all john
Hello there John
Six o’clock in the morning just back waiting for my English breakfast , I’ve got a question does black cherry produce black cherries I’ve a red cherry in the orchard, compatible comes with trust also if your comfortable with people around you or the crew your working with anyway have a nice day
Black cherry does produce a black cherry though not very desirable. Thanks Alex
I have a red cherry which is common round hear there are odd black cherries but there not common
I would love to have some of that bird's eye. It is so gorgeous even in its rough state. viewed in San Diego
It sure is. Thanks
I love birdseye in wood. Back when I was making picture frames for my brother's collection of Native American art I used a lot of Canary wood with birdseye because it enhanced the work. I doubt you've had occasion to saw it though, since it's grown in South America I believe.
Naturally We don’t have any here to saw but it is a beautiful wood Thank you for sharing this
