the sky in the animation is a sphere, the numbers are angles on that sphere

@@theartoftimelapsemore424 that or texture wrapping numbers, to ensure the sphere is a continuous surface. When making the sky picture they unwrap this grid and paint over it, or some custom software is made to paint on the sphere directly, which requires a properly wrapped sphere anyway.

its so weird watching this when you know all the songs like the back of your hand. You try to predict where it's gonna go but it never goes where you think. A sort of weird way to experience it again for the first time
not only 4 times faster, but way less information. 0.25 times sounds fast alright, but lost information.
