TV Musings: Trying One Small Change for Goal Planning
In this video I share an approach I am going to try for TV Watching Goal Planning, with just one small adjustment to my viewing to see if it gets me closer to my goals.
QotD: Do you have any strategies you use for watching TV?
Bonus Q: Do you have any recommendations for shows about the performing arts?
Current Challenge: Finishing a show that I missed the back half of when it was live. I have no trouble rewatching what I've missed, but I stumble on getting to the new-to-me episodes.
Live Shows Mentioned:

Episode 1 of North of North is available on RUclips: ruclips.net/video/TRj3a5q9qms/видео.html

Film Decision Fatigue Discussion ~ How to Decide What Movie to Watch
Просмотров 4119 часов назад
In this video, which I called a bit of a 'live brainstorming', I share some ideas on ways to choose what to watch, along with some challenges they may present (or avoid). One of the challenges I faced last year for film watching was literally deciding what to watch. Sometimes it took so long to decide, that I saw one less movie than I hoped to a week. It is a bit of a messier discussion than I ...

I'm glad you're enjoying Rescue HI Surf! I have to catch up myself as I let current shows back up during the holidays. I think we'll get caught up on that one soon. We really enjoy seeing scenes of home ^-^ I will say most of my shows/movies are dinner shows or after dinner/craft time shows. I don't usually just sit and watch something unless I'm at a theater or I'm super stressed out. I actually did quite a bit of watching last year where I wasn't crafting while watching, which is highly unusual for me. I was just so stressed with my job that I didn't have energy to do anything else. I have gotten quite a bit away from my Asian dramas because my mind just couldn't handle reading the subtitles after a long day. I definitely want to get back to those this year because there are so many that I want to watch! Performing Arts shows, I don't really know of any but I have a couple movie recs if you haven't already watched them - Center Stage which is ballet, and Mr Holland's Opus, which is about a high school band director and the journey through his career. Hope this plan works for you! I'm really curious what show it is you're watching, so I'm looking forward to your next check in ^-^
maybe you could have goals and lists to work on most of the time, but throw in a random movie in there too. (for example, 2 movies in your week that are from lists, and 1 that is a bonus random pick) (but decide ahead of time how you'll do this random pick, and which goal you'll focus on atm) 🤔 i get decision fatigue for movies too. so many choices available, that i end up not watching movies anymore because i can't choose. 🤦♀️ and im guilty of starting something, and finishing it only days/weeks/months (!) later, because i know it just stays there on the streaming service. 🤠 i should work on a strategy too this year. 😂
i found your thought process and your idea very interesting. i hope it does work out, and you're able to comfortably continue watching the show. 😊 i'm trying this year to mainly watch cable shows, and to not start many new series. 😅 otherwise, i start a million things that are available on streaming services, and never finish them. so i'll watch what is currently airing on tv, what i truly want to continue and finish from shows i already started (which i will have to question myself on each show), and rewatches (which i don't do enough for my liking). here's to a good tv year for both of us. ✋
The decision fatigue is real! I am currently working on some lists and trying to narrow them down to what fits my available viewing time. My current goal is to watch all of David Lynch’s filmography. The idea of putting all my watched films in to Letterboxd is so overwhelming but I love your idea of rewatching a series as you do it. Maybe you should have one day a week dedicated to a random movie like random movie Sunday or something? And work off curated lists for the rest of the week? Whatever you watch, please share your recommendations, love hearing your film thoughts.
Sounds like you might benefit from a "pile of possibilities" like for reading. You can narrow it down to what you're interested in currently, but allow yourself to mood pick. So let's see, at most you watch three films a week. That's 12 a month. Maybe double that for enough options. 24 to pick from that gives you both choices, but not so many choices. Pick so many from jars, from lists, throw in some random generator picks. A tossed salad of film.
hahaha You calling scene at the end lol! im glad our buddy reads helped with reading last years...some years are just like that where things happen and life just goes all chaotic. OMG I FORGOT about the Olympics and all the fun that was! i had so much fun watching some events together over on discord and such :P youre video and show tracking stuff makes me want to do the same! hahaha im so bad at tracking that stuff though ill just continue to live vicariously through your trackers lol also i learned today that when you hold down the space bar while watching videos it goes 2x speed....because arya sat on it and you started talking so fast im like why is she flying through this all of a sudden....oh cats lol
The Buddy Reads last year were the best!!! It definitely felt like most of my reading. And it's true, some years are just like that.. not many years. And other years reading explodes. Hard to tell how or why, but maybe it's better just to enjoy the ride. I am glad you enjoyed the trackers!! sometimes I enjoy making them more than using them, but sometimes both happen. It was so much fun to watch The Olympics together via Discord. It was a great way to connect. Maybe we could try watching a show or movie sometime that way. Omg the cats comment got me. I didn't know that space bar did that. Great that the cats are keeping your company while watching!!
Live in the Now! Love that statement. Happy new year Shannon 🎉🙂
hahaha, I am trying to think of where i first heard that. It might have been Gidget, lol! But, it is oddly both timely and timeless! Happy New Year K Kelly!!
Great hearing about your recap and goals! My year ended up ok. I read a bit less than the year previous but that's perfectly fine with me. I reached my 52 novel goal in mid-December, so that was great. I probably watched the most movies than I had in a while in 2024, which was nice. I definitely went to the movie theater quite a bit more as I had stopped back in 2021 due to the closures and just never got back in the habit of going. We usually watch the HP movies over the holidays as well as LotR, however we did not last year. I think it was a combination of the family being sick and watching Christmas movies instead, which is something I hadn't explored in several years. I do use Letterboxd but I don't spend a lot of time on there. I just go on, log my movie and get out lol. I have tried to dabble with Notion, but I found that most of what I was doing on Notion, I was doing on other apps or spreadsheets so it was a lot of duplication for me and I stopped. I'm just not really sure what I want to use it for and I think the problem is that it is whatever you want it to be and when I have too much choice like that, I can't figure out what I want it to be for me or what to use it for. I use TV Time to track my TV shows and they also allow tracking of movies, but I have not switched over the movie tracking to there. I continue to use Letterboxd for movies. I hope you have an amazing year!
Way to go on reaching your novel reading goal ahead of schedule! That's awesome. And yay to more movies. I'm so glad that you have been getting back out to the movie theatre, sounds like fun adventures. I'm so sorry to hear family was sick over the holidays, that definitely can shift plans (we had that happen this year too). I think how you watched the 'next recommended' Christmas movie was awesome, I get decision fatigue on choosing films and it sounds like that approach is working for you!. Ah yes, the duplication of things. I have that with Notion too. Even though I've been using it for over a year for the TV tracking, I also still use Trakt and my TV spreadsheet. So ... it does sometimes just feel 'more but different', not cutting back from anything else. I have head TV Time is good! Trakt also have movies on it, but I like having TV and Film separate. I hope you have an amazing year too!!
Great to see you! I really need to get back to the Wiccan Wheel series. I meant to read the second one shortly after the first, but I haven't. I moved all the books I had languishing on my Current Reading List that I hadn't touched for months to an On Hiatus shelf at the end of 2024, so I started fresh with only my one or two active reads (a novel and manga probably). At least one of those I will need to restart because I just wasn't in the mood for it at the time I started it. I should probably go through that On Hiatus list and see if I can clear out the previous tenants because I probably have no interest in those if I hadn't thought about those for years...
I have really enjoyed the Wiccan Wheel series, that's great that you have started it too! It took me a bit to get to this one, so I understand that happening. Moving stuff to a Hiatus Shelf is a smart move...good way to clear the decks but still have a spot to find those titles if you need them. I also find I have to restart something if it's been too long since I've gotten to it. Actually...I thin I have a hiatus shelf.. ohmy, I forgot about that! Something to look into. At another time :)
Yay! You're back! 🎉
Hi Paula!! I am back!!! :)
Hi, Shannon. Like you I have had times in my life when I did not read at all or very little. And I have struggled most of my life getting around to creative expression. At this season of my life, however, reading and creativity (of which I am still struggling) take center stage, so these two subjects I have the most interest in watching on your channel. For me I find that film is subpar for my interests these last few decades and I am not into gaming at all. But I think I may catch Beast from Haunted Cave as I love campy horror movies. I also like organizational things around the home which I will watch and cheer you on for if you share plans and progress for this in the future year. The best to you and your sisters and brother always. D
It's so helpful to know what's important to spend time one, and what isn't. Creative expression and reading sounds like wonderful areas to focus on, and they sounds very important to you. I hope you enjoy Beast from Haunted Cave... even though it's not the best film I really did enjoy watching it. Thank you for being so present and cheering me on! I really appreciate it :)
Loved Lilith Saintcrow's Jill Kismet series. I have read the first two of the Dante Valentine series. I need to pick up the next one. I took a break from paranormal urban fantasy and just now started picking them back up. :)
Sounds like we have similiar reading! I read the Strange Angels series years ago and really enjoyed it, so was excited to start the Dante Valentine series. I really want to get back to it, I love urban fantasy so much but haven't been reading it as much these days. I hope you enjoy getting back to it soon!
Great to see you again, Shannon. And with updates on your reading life. Look forward to your recap of 2024 and plans for 2025.
Great to see you too!! it is nice to be back early, even if it will be more intermitten than I thought lol.
Really enjoyed this, Shannon. Thank you so much. 📘🩷
So glad to hear you enjoyed it!
I think the meaning behind the unicorn is that the Orkney brothers slay a symbol of innocence in pursuit of love. The four of them have been taught to be proud, but not given an ounce of affection by anyone, and so they act out in terribly destructive ways in hopes of receiving it.
That it is an interesting interpretation, although as you say acting out destructively to receive love is quite terrible. Thanks for watching!
I liked your observations about each chapter almost functioning as short stories...that might be a holdover from it starting as a serialized story in a magazine. I also liked the point about part of the story being stories within stories (I'm particularly thinking of Sola giving her story to Carter). As for Dejah, you make fair points, although her standing up to Tal Hajas is one of the best moments in the story. Anyway, thank you so much for the breakdown!
That's a great point that the short story feel could be hold over from serialized story format, that makes a lot of sense. That's awesome that Dejah standing up to Tal Hajas is one of your fave moments. I do think it's one of the most unique worlds I've seen and enjoy a lot of the adventure elements. I'm glad that you enjoyed the review!
Great catching up with you! We've been thinking of rewatching the Fast and Furious movies also. We're trying to hold off until the next movie is closer to release, but we really enjoy those movies. Great to see some knitting! Yes, the yarn memory when you keep needles in projects for a while ^-^ I have that same indentation on my sweater that I haven't worked on in a bit. I finally pulled it out and put some rows in, but there is an indentation LOL
I really love the Fast and Furious films too! This month I have rewatched the first three films several times, more in the background of when I'm doing other stuff, but I know them so well now it's just more of a comfort watch. I did get to the fourth film and I have only seen that one maybe once before. I'm so glad I got some knitting in. Your yarnie updates always inspire me to get to some knitting projects. I had no idea an indentation in a work could be so pronounced. I am glad this one is just for me, and honeslty it just makes me laugh so I'm gonna keep it as is!
I have a mixed selection of individually wrapped tea bags in a tall jar on my kitchen counter. This was recommended to me by the local health food shop owner after I mentioned to her that my boxes of tea tended to get lost and forgotten at the back of the cupboard. I've found this has really worked for using up my teas. I've made some progress on my goals, but sorting out paperwork came to a halt when my shredder gave up the ghost! It's decades old so it has really done well. I bet the one I get to replace it won't last as long! 😊
Oh that's a smart way to go to have the teas so accessable. Yay for helpful health food shop owner! I'm glad to hear that it's worked for your teas. Glad to hear that you have made some progress on your goals, but I'm sorry to hear about your shredder. I guess they do have a lifespan. I hope getting a new one is easy and helps you keep on working on your goals!
i don't know anything about wow, but i always enjoy your updates on the game because you're so passionate and happy when you talk about it. 😊💚
Awww, thank you so much Penny! I'm so glad the enthusiasm reads. I really do enjoy the game :)
I am also doing duolingo in Italian 😊 🤗
That's awesome! I haven't tried Italian yet, but I have watched a lot of Italian films!
Me too!! Love seeing the highlights of your days Shannon and now I am so missing playing the game with you and Jamie!!!
Thank you so much Suzie, I am so glad you enjoyed it. I miss gaming with you too!!
I really enjoyed this video, Shannon. It was very calm and soothing. It was nice to journal with you!
Thank you so much, Donna, I am so glad you enjoyed it. It's always nice to journal together!
I just love this quick peek into your world. I'm so glad you are doing these again!
I'm so glad you enjoyed it Jamie!! I really like doing 1SE's!
Great catching up with you! That's too bad about The Brother's Sun being cancelled. I do have intentions on watching it eventually. Great to hear about your wax melt journey! I don't organize my teas because I don't have that big of a variety. I'm very picky about the type of tea I drink and 99% of the tea I have are black tea that might have an additional flavoring. I put all of the tea bags in an empty moon cake tin and my loose leaf have their own tins that I bought from either David's or Adagio Tea. I think a drawer or some kind of box would work well and if you want to be surprised, maybe do a random generator to tell you what to drink?
I hope you get to watch The Brothers Sun. I thought it was a great show, and am sad it was cancelled. That sounds really smart to have teas in different containers by type. I have a drawer that would be a great tea drawer...but there is other stuff in it. Lol. I have a feeling what's going on is that I really want to clean up/clear out/reorganize my kitchen and I don't have the energy for it. Maybe in the new year. I think for me with tea, separating caffineated and decaf is often the first step. I'm finally a no-caffiene-after-dinner person, which I don't love but is the reality so time to learn to work with it!!
I really enjoy your videos and you give me so many good ideas and inspiration of things to read and watch. A few years back we talked about The Resident and how it is good to watch it from the beginning. I see it is now on our Canadian Netflix. Oh and I was also wondering if you have read and/or watched the Three Body Problem (Liu Cixin)? - edit video(s) plural 😁
I am so glad to hear the videos proWow, good memory!! Yes, The Resident is now on Canadian Netflix, that was definitely one of the shows I just jumped in mid series but could now watch from the beginning. I really do like the cast of that one. I haven't read or watched the Three Body Problem, I have the book but am now flummoxed on if to read or watch it first. Usually with TV I find watching first is better, but because I already owned the book I feel like I should read it. I have heard it's a very complex one, but I really would like to get to it. Have you read or watched it? I am so happy to hear that the videos provide ideas and inspiration, that really is a joy to hear.
Thank you for this! Sometimes I get distracted when reading and it’s nice to have a recap to fill in my attention gaps.
You are so welcome, I am glad that you found it helpful!
Hey! Fun fact! Knife (kniv) and window (vindue) are at least some of the word vikings influenced the English with, so that's why Knife and Kniv are so similar. Fork is called Gaffel and spoon is called Ske. Why the other cutlery wasn't influencing the English language I have no idea.
That's so cool about kniv and vindue being from Viking words. I haven't come across vindue yet, but kniv and gaffel do come up often when I do Duolingo. Oddly, Ske for spoon hasn't come up. I've started a section that has future tenses and things are getting harder! Not just about remembering the words but also more of the context and place in time, it's getting more complex for sure.
I really enjoyed this, Shannon. Thank you for giving us the opportunity.
You are so welcome, I am glad that you found it helpful!
I've been updating my reading journal but I'm still fiddling with the printer to print pictures of book jackets. 🤔
Aha!! I understand the fiddling with printer challenge. You can always pencil in a generous space as a placeholder if you want to write but haven't been able to print yet. I kind of space things out, by printing things on one day, cuting and gluing on another day, and writing on a different day. Not sure why that works for me, but it does!
Great to see you! Fun to hear about your gaming! Nice to hear that you enjoyed your wax melter ^-^ Congrats on learning how to screen capture and keyboard shortcuts! I did know about the emoji shortcut. There was a time where I couldn't use emojis on RUclips comments. The button to add one when writing a comment wasn't there, so I ended up looking that shortcut up years ago ^-^ It is a little weird how RUclips will show you a video in suggestions sometimes. A lot of the time, I get really weird suggestions that don't apply to me at all but every once in a while there is one there about something I've been considering or wanting to learn. Hope you have any amazing week!
Oh that's so smart that you used the keyboard shortcut to do RUclips emojis (I had trouble use them for a bit, and still find them a bit awkward in live chats). The algorhythm is so strange on how sometimes it's helpful and a lot of times not (like all the popular videos on a subject I like but not channels I'm interested in - that happens to me all the time!). Gaming has been so much fun, I really enjoy watching your gaming channel videos! I sometimes think about doing a gaming channel. Maybe one day.
I’m so glad you’re doing updates on your goals. Last week when I saw your first video, I thought it was a great idea to have some end of year goals. So I made a list and did actually make a small (very small 😂) start. Then proceeded to forget about it all until I saw this video! So I hope you keep doing updates to keep me going! 😂😂😂
I'm so glad to hear that you made a start on your goals for end of year. I have fallen of doing updates, but I am happy that I made the goals and was able to keep up with the videos for at least a bit! Maybe next year I will have more success there.
Your activities this week in response to your end-of-year goalsetting seems to have really enriched your life. Really nice.
Thank you so much! I really feel a positive shift, and I'm so glad that I decided to both make goals and share them! Thank you for watching!!
Definitely looking forward to your goal check ins. That's a great idea, having easy and hard goals. I've missed seeing you as much this year.
Thank you so much! I have missed making videos and feel like I finally found something this year that works, which was such a relief. I'm glad you like the idea of easy and hard goals, I think it really helps because sometimes you can be in the mood for a challenge (and sometimes...not so much!), but there are so many ways to make progress. And it all counts!
The idea of you watching a Bob Hope movie and thinking it was going to be a drama is the funniest thing I've heard in a while.😂. Hedy Lamarr was also known for her inventions. I'm also curious about the comedies you do enjoy, since you admit they aren't your favorite.
I'm so glad I could give you a giggle! That's so cool that Hedy Lamarr also made inventions! Thank you for sharing. Comedies are not really my thing, they do get out dated quickly and can feel mean spirited. BUT, I do enjoy comedies that are a bit more meta where I know the context they are referring to, like Hot Fuzz with Buddy Comedies. I also really like Pitch Perfect, because it has performing arts in it. And very out of character for me, I loved The Guard with Brendan Gleeson and Don Cheadle, it's a Irish-set dark comedy that sometimes is shocking, but I absolutely loved it. What comedies do you enjoy?
Shannon, I loved hearing about all of your goals - and the picture they give of you! Films, TV, Books, Knitting, Drawing, tea and more. These sound like they'll make for a great fall! I'm cheering you on! And I just loved hearing about your recipe conversations with Mom!
Awww, thank you so much Jamie! I am so glad you enjoyed it, and yes... those are all things that are important to me. I'm so looking forward to working on them. I'm glad you enjoyed hearing about the Mom recipe conversations. :) It's funny to realize why I don't have some recipes written down!
Good luck with all of these goals! It's made me think of things I keep putting off. Making them end of the year challenges to complete before the 31st of December might give me the push I need!
Thank you so much! Yes, and end of the year challenge is a great way to go to get some of those things done! Be it fun, or practical, there is still time!
What a great idea to draw your plants!!!. I think I may join you. I overflowith with aloe vera.
Thank you!! I hope you do. I've not had an aloe vera in years, they are prolific!
This is so refreshing, Shannon. Always fun to assess where one is and where one is going at any time, and this is a good time. Really enjoying this and look forward to any follow up videos you have referencing your goals to the end of the year.
Thank you so much! I love plans and reflections, and to think ... I almost completely missed out on it this year! I am thrilled to be back at it. So glad to hear you enjoyed it.
10 years!! Congratulations 🎉❤
Thank you!
I just finished book 3, and I cried so hard
I can totally understand. This series is so in the feels.
I am amazed by your lists, organization and the process you go through! It was fun being able to follow your thought process before and after the films! I loved watching your knitting too, hehe. And good job on the stunt assessment!
Thanks so much Jamie! I am glad that you enjoyed it. I hadn't quite realized how much I think about the films both before and after I watch them... no wonder it takes longer than just the run time. And I love my stunt award 'game' I play, so happy that I got some wins in there this week!
Ffolow your nice chanaal
Thank you!
Yay for French films!! You bet I’ll be watching for shark fins at the Olympics now 😆
Haha, thankfully I think we have a fin-free Olympics!
You should look up how his bad relationship with his mother, who was Scottish, had an influence on his depiction of the Gaels. Funny enough though, Gaelic culture is Irish and North-West Scottish, but not Orkney. There was a whole thing written on this, but I think his mother being Scottish, Scottish having Gaelic connections, and his not getting along with his mother is why you may notice the anti-Gaelic themes. I suspect he chose Orkney as a base for Gaels as wordplay, implying the Irish and any Scottish similar to us are...well you know: "Ork"
Wow, that sounds like there is rather complicated and interesting connections there.
So curious you wound up with two Netflix related titles, I've no clue the Netflix link/if they are coming in future shows. The Bad Guys looks really fun though. I'd guess the Libby thing is a Canada region lock situation? I know I've heard mentioned UK libraries Libby can't send to the kindle app at all. I have got a Fire 10 tablet that I got to replace my kindle, and I use Kindle, Libby and Hoopla apps all on it for my library, but it seems like region locking plagues so many other countries its awful how limiting that is for no good reason. I didn't know Michael Buble was canadian! I saw him live years ago back when he was just hitting peak popularity at first, what a talent.
That's true! Two Netflix type titles in one haul, what are the chances? I'm looking forward to The Bad Guys for sure. Yes, the Libby thing is a regional thing, we've never been able to read library books on regular Kindle's but I'm a bit salty that the Libby app isn't available in the Kindle ecosystem. I'm so glad you can you can read all your library sources on one device, that is fantastic! I think my next step will be looking for Android tablets so that I can have everything in one spot. That's so cool that you saw Michael Buble live!! And yes, he's Canadian! And yes, a big talent. Looking forward to seeing what he is like on The Voice . Happy Weekend :)
Good to see you and catch up with you! You should be able to send most of your Libby borrows to your Kindle Fire? Not sure if it's different with your library though. See if there's an option in your Libby settings where you can click that you prefer to read on Kindle. I've only come across one or two books since I've been using Libby that are not able to be sent to Kindle. These are the steps I use to send my borrows on Libby to Kindle Fire. Once you borrow the book on Libby, there should be a button that says Read now with Kindle. You should be able to see the button when you borrow the book and from your Shelf on Libby. If you click that, it will redirect to Amazon, where it will ask you to confirm your borrow. Once you do that, it takes a minute or two for it to show up in your Kindle Library. Then you can download it in the Kindle app on your Kindle Fire. If your Kindle Fire is your default device on your Devices section on Amazon, it should automatically download to your Kindle when you sync. Hope that helps! If that doesn't work, are you able to open the website on your browser app from your Kindle Fire? My library's "Libby" website is still the library's Overdrive website address, so library dot overdrive dot com. If you are, you should see the Read Now with Kindle and there should also be a Read Now in Browser button. If that address doesn't work, you should be able to get to the website from your library website's digital offering section? I just heard you say that your Libby app is not working anymore, so this might be the way to go around that? I do most of my Libby borrowing from the browser on my computer rather than the Libby app truthfully. I really only use the Libby app if I'm on the go and want to see if my library has a book available or if my computer is off for the day. I did visit my library recently for the first time in years. I've been doing all of my borrowing digitally through Libby or Hoopla, but one of the manga series we're reading for club is hard to find for purchase right now, and we were able to find physical copies through my library system. It was really nice to be back after so many years! Lots of things there changed too. The layout was more spacious and they moved sections around. There is also a self-checkout machine now, which was different. Hope you have an amazing week and that you're able to read from Libby soon! If you need help, please feel free to send me a message on IG or Discord ^-^
Oh, thank you so much for the step by step there, Di. And for the offer to help and troubleshoot if I need it. I do really appreciate it. I hadn't tried logging into the Libby website on my Kindle Fire... I did give it a shot but it just says "open in Libby", but the Fire Tablet doesn't support the Libby app so there is no go. There isn't even an option to read online, only via the app. And so that means there is no 'send to Kindle' option, that's a regional thing that US Kindles can do but Canadian ones cannot. I saw that your Hoopla has manga, which is great to hear! The Hoopla I use also has more manga now which is super exciting, except I hit a glitch there too that I can only read it at the computer, and can't download it to my tablet (the borrow of the manga doesn't even show in my list). I have a feeling it's time for to get an Android tablet. I do love my Fire Tablet, but the Amazon ecosystem isn't as open as Android, so I've dropped down my reading a lot, and that's been quite a bummer. I'm so glad that you got out to your physical library!! I went again to pick up some more books recently and it's nice to get out there. I actually quite like the self check out, but it's also nice to actually talk to the staff...even if it just a hello and thank you! haha!! Have a great week :)
@@PlanetShannonTV Oh, that sucks that Canadian Kindles can't Send to Kindle. Sorry! I have noticed that about Hoopla on Kindle as well with the manga. I borrowed a bunch on my Android Tablet (I have a Galaxy Tab) and am able to download and read manga on it from Hoopla, but for whatever reason, the Hoopla app on Kindle Fire will not open my borrows. It shows I borrowed it, it says Read, but then I get an error message. It's very strange. I'm actually looking around right now for an eInk ebook reader. I love my Kindle Fire, but after working on a computer all day, I don't want to be looking at another screen to read. I love my Kindle Keyboard, but it's so old that I have to side load books onto it and I'm afraid it will kick the bucket any day now. I have no idea which one I will land on and it's taken me months already of looking and trying to figure out which one I want to go with. I'm not sure I want another Kindle device and there are so many other companies out there that offer the eInk readers, that I feel like I should try something else, especially since I already have 2 Kindles.
The Battle of Bedegraine is one of the best written battles I have ever read. It’s exciting, a bit dark, and so full of political complexity
I'm so glad you enjoyed it! The whole series has so much complexity to it, it's not what brought me to the series but it delivered!
Attack of the Crab Monsters 😂 🦀 creature features are so wild.
It really was. I mean... I wasn't expecting much. But still. The effects made me laugh so much, it was worth it just for that!
Saw the title. Subscribed 😊
Thank you! I hope you enjoy the videos :)
Nice choices! This seems like a fun challenge. I’ve recently watched the new Roadhouse which I thought was really awesome and action packed- I never saw the original though. I’ve also just seen the new Ghostbusters:Frozen Empire, and thought it was pretty cool. 😊
Yay for embracing the movie of the moment! I am quite curious about Roadhouse, it felt like a very unexpected remake (or sequel.. not sure). Oh! I'm glad to hear you enjoyed the new Ghostbusters! I have to add that one to my list :)
