I think in the medium mode points are x2 and in hard they are x4 Also there's no red circle in either difficulty to tell you you can't place a rune anywhere. That only is in the easy difficulty

Level 10 on Easy Mode = Level 01 on Hard Mode, Level 11 on Easy Mode = Level 02 on Hard Mode, Level 12 on Easy Mode = Level 03 on Hard Mode, and so on. Level 01 on Easy Mode has 05 Symbols and 4 Colors. Level 01 on Hard Mode has 11 Symbols and 7 Colors. Level 14+ on Hard Mode has 22 Symbols and 9 Colors.

It's been a while but... is there some sort of strategy on being able to get this far?

How do I get this game

You're the real expert. I feel happy that finally someone actually decided to do vids on this game. I played it when I was young, and couldn't even get past level 12 on Easy Mode. It's just an unforgiving game.

As shown here, the way to get around level 14 and higher is to discard any invisible symbols you get, except if you can put it somewhere and know that it's grouped with a certain bunch of colors, or if it can complete a row/column. You can tell what color an invisible symbol is by looking at its glow

Did you get there yourself of use my save file for this? After the soup bowl, the next level has an invisible symbol (to make it visible open the symbols.gif and put something in that space). Level 15 and beyond will always be the same as level 14

I literally winced when I watched you place the skyblue arrow next to the tile you needed to clear the arrow slash alladin squiggly symbol but it worked out . phew ! exhausting wow . P.S. (I meant the other way around on those symbols and colors)

Actually ignore the last comment, I was wrong, it's actually level 18 in easy and 13 in average The last board is 23 (13 in expert). I think it's impossible to get to this level without hacking the savefile. The last symbol is a soup dish, and no new colors appear after gray. On level 24 and beyond, an invisible symbol is added, and to show the invisible symbol you must edit the symbols.gif file. There are 9 colors and 22 symbols in total (21 if not counting the invisible symbol)
