Building a whelping box - Puppies coming soon!
Просмотров 4355 месяцев назад
Today I build a whelping box for my bernese mountain dog. She is a few days away from having puppies. I'd say this took less than 3 hours. All together is cost under $120. I was able to use basic tools. Keep in mind this is not my best work but it will be perfect for what it needs to do. Thank you for watching and stay tuned for puppies.

Pulling 45 degrees sideways on an eyebolt drops the load capacity by 70% and more than 45 degrees is not recommended let alone jerking on it sideways in an emergency.
Really jacking that rim up!!!😂
My 2016 Dodge 1500 Limited has been leaning to the left at the drivers rear. When I drive it it returns to the proper height. The pump is working. So it's a slow leak in the bag or lines. Mechanic wants around a $1000 to fix it?
The fact it was in Colombia was a footnote, but you made it the headline. For those that didnt take the time to watch your video and hear the positive stuff you said at the end, will just read the title and add it to their reasons to bad mouth the country. Other than that, thanks for sharing. I had a similar upbringing regarding born and raised in the northeast US, and spent summers and Christmases down there.
I used to live in Jackson heights. Closest you can get to Colombia here. I wouldn’t trade my time down there for anything. It’s an amazing county. Thanks for the comment.

You assume incorrectly..it's exactly the same configuration on the N18. The issue. Is carbon buildup causing hotspots, improper and or poor maintenance.
Maybe. I’m gonna go with too much heat
About a year late but what exact carb are you running?
Still running the xr 100 carb. Got it tuned great. She runs awesome still! Time to big bore my daughters crf100

I just got one this week, and it is definitely a solid beast. Will be replacing the 5 gallon plastic can I got at an Ace Hardware while I was camping in Montana this summer. For me it will be used to refuel a Honda generator on those cloudy days when my solar on my 2016 lance camper can't recharge the house batteries.

Thanks for the quick video. Do I need the scan tool to get the shock assembly in? I am able to get the shop to do the air purge and nitrogen fill after the install can't I? Any input is appreciated!👍🏼
You need to drain all the air out first. Change shocks. Then refill to 175psi. Then you need to calibrate the sensors and input height values.
@@newenglandlife978 yes but I can't for the life of me find scanner that is able to drain the system. The scanner I have displays every value from the barometric pressure, ride height of each wheel and even how much voltage each sensor is using. But I can bleed out the air. While trying to figure this out I've learned these systems are know to build up water inside caused from condensation just like what happens to air compressors. So how do I drain the water? It's crazy to me how common of a problem this is yet so little information on how to do the very first step. I can't be the first person replacing an air suspension spring that is still pressurized.
What did you use to fasten your lugs?
I don’t really remember. Probably just tapped the lead post and put some bolts in there.
I know how I’m gonna solve this problem, delete this bull$hit and go coil over.

Great video NEW SUB. I got a question for you, I have a 10 x 20 shed that I'm converting into a cabin. I have R13 installation & drywall install but it's actually about a 168square feet, because there's a porch cut out into it. I decided not to go with a mini split, and I purchased one of those cadet wall mount heaters, but I got the 1500W. Do you think this will completely heat my shed/cabin as the primary source of heat in the winter? My Shed/Cabin is completely offgrid powered by a 3500W predator generator going into a 30 amp sub panel, It's basically wired up just like your house but again, I'm completely off grid using a generator. Thanks in advance for your thoughts
What sort of climate do you live in? We get temperatures below 0F here. Very cold. Il not sure the 1500w heater would be enough. Id recommend one of those Amazon diesel heaters. You can get a 12v one or a 120v ac. They heat instantly and are pretty cheap.
Living in North Florida, something like this would be a major bonus. I already have several batteries (including the big guy), so if I could just plug in a lamp, a fan and charge my phone without having to leave my car running after a storm...I'd be str8! A couple of these in the emergency kit...YES! Thanks
Oh this would definitely be enough for that. Good luck with that Florida weather!

👋 hi
Hola
Just bought the same one. Working an f250 gas truck with a miss. Tested both good and misfire cylinders. Both came back at 60. Returning this junk tool tomorrow.
I still use mine. I just double the reading
@@newenglandlife978 LOL! My shop compressor was et to 130 PSI and it's accurate! This crap tester read 65 PSI. It also read 65 PSI on my 8 month old Husqvarna T540 XP® II and it in fact reads 65 PSI on ANY other engine including my 2012 R1 and 07 ZX 10-R and they run 185 PSI when the shop tests them. LOL!!!!!!!! Just throw it in the trash.
I ordered one of these yesterday. It's off Ebay in the UK but looks identical, at least in the pictures. Will see what actually turns up. The cost is significantly less, about $34. May be it's made of cheap metal compared to yours. Time will tell.
There are great for lots of different tires. They are nice and small too
I have that Harbor Freight compression tester and it consistently measures low, no matter which machine I put it on. You can buy compression testers that have the Schrader valve at the tip of the hose instead of and the end of it. I was suspicious of the last measurement I made with this tester, so I haven't yet bothered to take this machine apart. It's a well-known axion in physics that you cannot measure something without disturbing it, so we endeavor to disturb measurements as little as possible in order to get the most accurate measurements we can, recognizing that no measurement will ever be perfect. So I poured a fine liquid into the hose to see how much volume it takes up, poured it into a small measuring cup, and it was around 2.5 teaspoons, which amounts to about 12.3223 cc. The motorcycle I'm testing is 1000 cc and has four cylinders, so 250 cc per cylinder. Using the Gas Law, PV = nRT, assuming nRT is the same for both cases, we say that P1V1 = P2V2, or P1 = P2*V2/V1. If P1 and V1 are the undisturbed pressure and volume inside the cylinder, then P2 is the gauge pressure we'll read with our hose and additional volume, so V2 is simply V1 + Hose volume. In my case, P2 (gauge pressure) was around 100 psi, which I considered to be very low for this bike. But if we apply this fomula, V1 = 250 cc. V2 = 262.3223 cc, we get a ratio of around 105%, or an expected P1 = 105 psi. Which is still a bit low. But there is a 5% error in my reading. If the piston is smaller, the error will be larger, and if it's larger, then the error will be smaller. In the meantime, this bike seems to run just fine, especially when it should not be running below 150 psi, I suspect that the gauge itself is not working properly.
I tried my best to understand everything you wrote. From what I can understand it makes some sense to me. What is your profession? Physics? Have you ever looked into the double slit experiment? That is what this reminds me of with the act of measuring having an affect on the test
@@newenglandlife978 I'm familiar with the double-slit experiment, but this refers to the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle, which applies more to quantum mechanics. However, having little or next to nothing to do with quantum mechanics, this problem has to do with ordinary mechanics, and perhaps more along the lines of thermodynamics. At any rate, no matter how small the impact, there will always be some disturbance in the measurement. In this case, this disturbance is pretty large - for my CBR1000, around 5 to 6%. For a 125cc bike, it would be closer to 10% error. In addition to the hose error, the gauge itself must bend inside the mechanism, since it is usually a tube that shrinks or expands with pressure. So here is a yet another source of error. My profession is retiree, but my degrees are physics, mathematics and a terminal degree (Ph.D.) in electrical engineering. My dissertation is online and centered around the study of quantum wires.
@@RobertMertensPhD This tester read 65 PSI on my 2012 Yamaha R1 which reads 185 PSI on my mechanic's tester. LOL. And it makes 170 RWHP on the Dyno so it is NOT 65 PSI!
