I still can't understand how such a cheap board can produce such nice sound like this. It was good with the default PC plate. I ordered an alu plate from a local maker. Now the board is a complete beast. For me, putting the sound aside, the color of this board is biggest selling point. What else can you ask from such a cheap board?

Well, the previous owner of this board made this top-mount happen. It was the holes (for the dumb bell gasket bean) on the top case of the board that were filled with screw holes for top-mount. For the typing feel, I think this is way better than the o-ring and gasket bean originally designed for the board. Sound wise, the alphas are brighter but the stabs are a bit more hollow which is typical...

A clack board paired with a clack switch, you can't go wrong with this combo. This time I use the oring mount on my UTD, which is surprisingly good. Even top mount is gold but oring mount on UTD is something else. KKB is really good with this Alhambra design.

So one interesting aesthetical feature of this switch is the translucent top housing and a vibrant stem, allowing a see-through experience. You can clearly see the pink stem travel up and down, which resemble the rain fall in certain ways. Enough talking, let's enjoy the sound test of the Purple rain switch on Kei v2.
