Ive watched a dozen tutorials on the mun landing and back while running the mission at the same time and all failed. Yours is hands down the best tutorial out there. Its the small stuff. Like minimal speed/fuel to reach mun orbit and correct angle to leave that did it. Thank you.

I have no problem docking in KSP 1, but when I try it in KSP 2, the prograde marker starts slipping from the target no matter what I do and yes, my speed is in target mode (relative speed). When I switch to the second one to reorient the docking port to the other ship it just starts spinning for no reason, I turn off SAS everything is fine, when I turn it back on it starts spinning again!

Actually, they are called cross ports, they help equalize the pressure between cells, to help avoid collapse and keep the wing airfoil shaped

I understand the pushing...mentally, physically, etc. because it makes you deeper in every way and prepares you for the hell that you may encounter later. I do not understand the complete, punishing, ignorance of the military refusing to care for it's people medically. It's hateful and evil. The government/military should do nothing but honor - in every way and always - those who have sacrificed everything for it. First I was confused cuz there's no easy way to see the TWR, it's almost hidden, it's behind 2 clicks and it's super small, then I noticed the game doesn't have money, like wtf? without limitation, I can just go to eelo with level 1 tech, why bother play the game if you can reach anywhere and everything like that, is like playing sandbox, you just do cool stuff but it's a wast of time, cuz there's no progression.

It surprised me how there's very little science thingys on the game, on the first we have a bunch of baromether and stuff to do science, kinda liked that more.

its kind of tough, now the game is released. the manouver nodes are locked behind a research wall and you have to explore the mun and return back to kerbin. you do get the SAS early on though. im going to try it again manually using a design like your ship. i got pretty close just doing some janky thing without really knowing what i was doing but i ran out of fuel trying to get back lol i really need to get the samples from the mun and return to earth to keep progressing my research, thanks for this tutorial!

How do you get all those parts? I have the mun mission but I have nowhere near that many parts. Wondering if I have to farm science to unlock more R&D… What do you do to farm science points?

havent seen the newer videos. but if you change the deploy setting from safe, to risky it might help.

I am loving this series, it's such a creative idea. Ksp has always been a sandbox game and you have understood that perfectly. I am excited to see what you do with this series in the future.

Gah i just want to unlock rovers so i dont have to fiddle with 15 normal anti normal burns to land right ontop of sigmals ffs. A basic rover should unlock with the lunar can. The idea that humans wouldnt go 4wheeling first and foremost on amy surface it lands on is preposterous and proven wrong by the apollo missions lol

So, famously NASA only lost three astronauts in their quest to land on the moon in the Apollo program. The Apollo 1 capsule fire. It's so easy to lose astronauts in this game I feel like you would have to put forth as much effort as the actual NASA Space Program in order to actually complete the game without losing astronauts.

Regarding historical science and the arches. There are about 47 of these "arches" in and around the Grand Canyon area. Any geologist can tell you that the life expectancy for these arches is measured in thousands of years. So much, for the surface geology of the area being the millions of years old. Smoking guns proving the area is very young. The other famous one being the tall flat limestone walls which should have crumbled long ago, allegedly.

Even with it's flaws, this is still the coolest game in existence at the moment I think.

KSP2 starting to look viable

It would have been tight, but I'm pretty sure you could have made it to orbit if you aimed for a 10k apo instead. Still might have needed a bit of monoprop to do it, depending on how cleanly you did it, but 571 dV should have been enough.

Kerbol is the sun. It gives you the delta-v to get to the surface, but you probably don't want to go there. ☀

This is just a guess, but maybe your shoot didn't deploy because you set it to deploy at 2,000 above sea level. The terrain in that area may have been higher than that. I doubt it, but maybe.
