There’s always a chance of them stopping here southbound and especially this time with the help from 2 late running Avanti’s.

Thanks! It was just under an hour late leaving, Firstly because the driver needed the keys to the cab and then it didn’t sound like the brakes wouldn’t release properly so they had to start from scratch, That’s what it sounded like anyway 🙂.

Oh me too I liked seeing 69005 looked really smart and 70003 as I always like seeing a 70 one of my fav locos 😊 I think the next video like this will be the Hope valley and Drax diverts mixed in with the usual stuff so looking forward to making that 😁 already started it today actually with 66035 on 6H12 and 66156 66194 on 0D12 😀.

Yeah quite low this bridge I had a whaft of warm air from the exhaust of 66067 haha! You could 66028 from a mile away very loud! 171 the signal changed from Yellow to Green 😀

It’s around the corner from the station you can get to it via the over bridge which goes over Hazel Grove Station or via the playing field on the other side it’s easy to see from a birds eye view on Google Maps as it’s the last bridge before the line reaches Hazel Grove High Level Junction, It’s a very old footbridge which has those metal slashes across it so plenty of gaps to put your phone / camera through. 😊😊😊.

Thanks 🙂 You get an okay mixture of freight on weekdays it just depends on what’s running really as it’s mainly runs as required, On an average day you get the DRS Tesco, Royal Mail 325, GBRf to Seaforth, Wilton Bins, 2 Biomass etc or you can go to Acton Bridge a little further south which is a popular spot as you get the stuff from Runcorn / Liverpool so it’s a little more busier, If you’re looking for GBRf 60’s on the biomass then anywhere on the Chat Moss Line west of Earlestown is suitable as you get both the loaded and the empties.

Indeed it is! With DB now retiring their 60’s the GBRf fleet are they only really ones in the area now but it’s better than none at all 😄 The TFW combo was nice and the FL Engineers.
