What is DuckStation? An emulator?

@benjaminrowley3859 yeah, it was probably the best ps1 emulator I used when I had to. I can't quite remember how easy the setup is but there are bound to be some youtube guides.

Ive watched a few RUclips guides, tried to follow a few of them but to no avail, sadly.

​@Harmony270 According to sources, the time constraints I eluded to were due to a mcdonalds deal. So the comment is somewhat correct. High manufacturing costs of bigger carts also played a part, as I also mentioned. 😊

Hi, I actually found that out a couple of weeks ago so it does make sense. Its a shame because when I got this level hike cable it was fine, but it has since died on me. I bought another, and it stretches and looks bad. It's a shame no-one from PAL regions have tried to make something similar. I've tried rad2x cables but they leave my tv with image retention. I'm now using an open source scan converter and rgb scart cables which provide a decent picture for all my retro consoles as they all use rgb. I would like to have hdmi modded consoles but I can't do it myself as I'm terrible at soldering. For now the ossc works fine. Although I've not tried it for capturing gameplay yet.

@@GamingMasterRace My set up is a lossless, line doubling, de-interlacer to make everything ###p instead of ###i and turns 240p to 480p (It's an add on for old SONY TVs that took all different inputs SVHS, composite, component, but sadly not SCART, has four HDMI inputs that it also does that deinterlacing stuff too when needed, and output them at progressive scan via HDMI) for my older consoles, a 4-in 2 output HDMI switcher (one for the de interlacer, the other three for One X, 360 and PS3) and have one output going to my old 3D TV. The output that goes to my main TV has an M-Classic with an attachment that forces 1440p output (My TV only does 1440 at 120hz, without the dongle the 50/60hz input only comes out at 1080p) so everything comes to my TV at 1440p, with the colour scale moved to within HDMI levels (so the colours don't look washed out like older consoles do on modern tellys) AND extra anti-aliasing. It looks awesome on 3-D games, plus setting older but not yet retro consoles to 720p output gives you an integer scale, and a lot of games on 360 and PS3 run better when set to 720p output instead of 1080 (most games were still only 720p or less, the scaled to 1080, taking that scaling off gives the M-Class an integer scale to work with for better results, and removing that upscaling pass from the console improves the performance) Plus, the de-interlace thing I use, is a bad ass surround sound thing with 5 speaker dolby and a MASSIVE subwoofer, so for under £200 in total (including the M-classic and the attachment that forces 1440p output for it) it makes those HDMI mods unnecesary AND improves older games. Those Need for Speed games on 360, and motorstorm on the PS3, look awesome running at 1440p in surround sound with extra AA on the edges.

@hybridvigga that setup sounds incredible. Motorstorm is a great looking game anyway so at 1440p I bet it looks downright gorgeous.

@@GamingMasterRace I have an LG telly, so it get's even better because their fake HDR is pretty much identical to the one Microsoft use for auto HDR on X-box, so it looks as much better as all those BC games do in HDR. But yeah, Motorstorm games and Gran Turismo etc are awesome on it. Just have to remember to flick the switch on the M-Classic off for 2-D games, it doesn't really help with those and makes them all blurry, but I got Surround sound and £800 in my wallet compared to a retrotink 4K though so I can live with emulation and some shaders to make 2D look CRT-ish.

I had to look up Tor because I don't remember it very well. But now I see it I remember it. I was definitely getting it mixed in with Titanos. I recently acquired a new Power Rangers gsme I'm gonna have to do video for. It's been great revisiting them so far.

@GamingMasterRace That's the one! Team17 developed it, I believe. The best of the old timey pool/snooker games for my money. What I liked about Side Pocket is they were aware you wouldn't be able to have a competitive game of pool on it, so they leaned into the 1 player life based system. (Sorry for the long response, Billiard games are a niche passion of mine!) 😂

@@TipsyAdonis I'll have to give arcade pool a proper go. I'll have to do a few videos on it. I used to love snooker/pool games. Shame they don't really release them much these days. Although Cue Club 2 on PC is a great game.

yeah we kinda released without too much warning, but wanted to get it out for summer, as otherwise it never would. certainly has a lot more to explore

It's a shame EA and/or Microsoft won't make LMA 07 available. It wasn't a bad game.

If I'm being honest. No. You can see the positional changes of course. But I just make changes until we start winning again.

British bulldog was one of my favourites too, but Undertaker always takes top spot. This game hasn't aged particularly compared to Smackdown but it's still worth a go.

I've not noticed the personally. But I've played very little smackdown 2. I'll check it out and see if I get the same results. 👍

@@GamingMasterRace For a PS1 HDMI solution on a budget, the thing works great. I've kept my PS2 TO HDMI though as that uses the component signal, is way clearer than RGB and allows for Progressive Scan on supported games 🤘

11th would be so much better than I could ask for. It would hopefully help with a potential better budget for the next season.

I really enjoy Football Manager. I finished a season on 2023 as West Ham but I never really do any good with any team. Sometimes I feel these games are getting so advanced you need to actually to have a coaching badge in order to play them. Haha.

Jet Rider is all I ever knew it as until I got older and realised it was called Jet Moto elsewhere.

I don't recall getting a whole bunch of 2-2 draws. I my main memory of this game is always getting the sack. Haha.
