    how many hotswap sockets does it come with

    • @shahroznaeem
      @shahroznaeem 3 дня назад

      @ratGTRules, only 2 sockets - LMB and RMB are hotswappable. The sockets accept both 2 pin Microswitches and the standard 3 pins. The extra buttons on the left side of the mouse are no hotswappable as far as I can tell. I'll have to open the mouse up to get to them. The removable shells only allow access to the battery and the LMB / RMB switches.

    • @shahroznaeem
      @shahroznaeem 13 дней назад

      @afiqzikry6782 Typing on a keyboard with magnetic switches feels no different than regular ones. Similar to normal switches, magnetics also come in tactiles, linears and clicky. They can be lubed as well to improve the experience. The ones on this board are linears by Outemu and are factory lubed, offering a smooth experience. Personally, I liked the feel of the IPI Custom lightning switches on the IPI Rain 65M more, but that obviously comes with a higher price tag.

      Unfortunately, I don't see any similar option in the software. You can set the actuation and release points, have the option of configuring a single key to perform upto 4 actions depending on how much you press, but that's about it. It is possible that they would include null binding in a firmware upgrade.

      Hi there. I checked with them and after much back and forth, it turns out that it is hot swappable but isn't the standard hot swap sockets. It's a different form that takes a lot of force to pull out. For what it costs, it's decent. If you can lube the switches (would take a long time with some level of risk in breaking the board) it's a good one.
