Yes, its exactly like you describe it! Deep and sexy and so so yummy. That image with the espresso martini with soft jazz in the background is spot on. My absolute favourite vanilla perfume.

If you find you're not getting the performance that you expect wearing Chanel No. 5 it's because this fragrance DOES NOT play well with others. Any residue left on your skin by soaps or shower gels WILL affect performance of this fragrance. Try showering with a fragrance free soap before you wear it or else it will die a quick death; really the only downside to this fragrance. I've found the Original Scent Free Dove Moisturizing Bar or Simple brand Soap works well. If you don't mind spending the money, there is a Chanel No. 5 bath soap. I also recommend you pick up the Chanel No. 5 Body Lotion or Body Cream if you can! Wearing all of these together will have you turning heads all day! GUARANTEED!

You've actually convinced me to buy this perfume, I was looking for a bold (not sweet) fruity fragrance to wear at the gym.

Good Girl Blush was my signature scent this spring/ summer unless I wanted more bold then I went with Tom Ford’s Rose Prick. I got complemented every single day I wore GGB, usually coming off an elevator. I’m excited to try the elixir!

I just tried at a department store and love the elixir, I definitely smeel the raspberry. It's the type of fragance that I would like to smeel all day, that I just can't have enough of it. I don't think is very strong fragance. The original La Vie Est Belle is stronger in my opinion. But I am definitely playing to buy the elixir. I think is great for spring, and summer. You can wear it all year round, but my preference probably spring and summer. I love thelat doesn't have the powdery smell that the original has.
