Years ago I had a tiny studio apartment just off the Su Casa parking lot....I was almost broke and lived there for two years. My job, full time, barely paid the rent. It was on Playa del Sur and Windansea--a famed surfing spot, was just down the street. Su Casa was packed almost every night, esp. Friday and Saturday nights. Oh yeah, the good cheap days near a famed beach.

The party appears to be on what is now Fritz Maytag's vineyard property. In fact, each summer Fritz throws a harvest party in July or August in exactly the same spot...though it has changed much. Fritz bought the property from Hermann Hummel in 1968, Hummel had purchased it from Lanza very close to the time these videos were taken. Fritz bought the upper half. The bottom half was sold to Jerry Draper in 1943. A number of the views are from the bottom half. I also enjoyed the video of your father's early years. Toward the end they are in a pool which I recognized since I swam in it with my 5 year old boy in the 1990's. It is at Ch. Chevalier which was immediately below the Lanza property
