I love having details cleared up. Side note - if you are here and you haven't read Jodi's books other than the St. Mary's seasons series, you really ought to! They are all fantastic. I'll give a shout out to the Elizabeth Cage series as a great one to move into next.

I absolutely love the little snatches we got here and there when they visit and see Vikings traveling the coastline or rivers in America, or the ideas of how America's history has been rewritten so many times It's dangerous to visit. No speculative fiction writer should ever have to apologize for writing speculative fiction. Seriously - everyone thought Connie Willis wiffed the science fiction elements in the Doomsday Book. Until 2020, when it became a documentary.

I read the Outlander series as they first came out in 1991. Almost 20 years ago I wished for it to be made into a show. I think overall it has been done well, and I still love the characters. I feel similarly about these books! I think they would be so wonderful to watch as a series. I'll keep my fingers crossed it doesn't take 20 years!

I remember reading this the first time. It scared the sh*t out of me and I had to read it again and again. Terrifying and fascinating at the same time. Thank you Jodi.

Just to say, these books are available in ePub format from, amongst other places, Google Play Store. I almost didn't purchase an earlier book because the advertising mentioned "exclusively" Kindle...

Devoured it in 2 days, wanted to eek it out but you’re too good a writer I couldn’t help myself. Proper oh just one more chapter before bed and then realising you’ve been reading that long you can’t see in focus when you look up

Great book - Jodi's storytelling has got me hooked. Like other great author's she can spin a story with multiple characters without confusing the reader. The interweaving of characters from other books [I won't add spoilers here] adds a layer to the overall world-building nature of her series. To new-readers it might be nice to "catch-up" with previous books - Jodi has a great website - but it isn't necessary for enjoyment of this book. Also, kudos to her proof-reader, no obvious mistakes that I can find - Although the team responsible for the eBook need a smack on the wrist regarding stray-hyphens; regu-lar, detect-ors, nefari-ous and at least half a dozen others!

I loved every page, every sentence. Before reading I, I was sort of meh, regarding Smallhope and Pennyroyal. Now, after reading it, I love them as much as I like the St Mary's and Time Police characters. LOVE

Mais nous n’avons pas de traduction pour les nouvelles des chroniques et les histoires sur la police du temps, et je ne lis malheureusement ps l’anglais… Pensez-vous qu’il y aura une édition en français de ces livres ? I haven't started it yet. I need to finish a book or two from the library so I can savor it and read it then reread it immediately . I know I will love it! Anticipation ! edit.. I also love Commander Hay, and I'm glad to know that we will see more of her.
