Model rocket launches....Low/Mid and High power rocketry
I have a paper jam
Ruff riddin hope it’s salvageable
It was not....total loss....but that's part of the hobby...no big deal
What camera did you use?
@@CRVcomponentsEstes universal astrocam
Where do I get the camera and paper for it
Kodak no longer makes the paper and cartridge kits...you might find it on eBay but you will pay dearly for it.
My favorite rocket. Nice.
Nice shoot ✌🏻🚀🇺🇸🇫🇷
What a great Launch thanks for sharing your adventures
How is this thing holding up after 11 years?
Actually just used it last week... still works great....problem is I'm almost out of paper and cartridges....which have been long discontinued
@@f62darkstar You can buy good ones on eBay. I ordered some and they are coming this week.
@@julianmalcolm yes...I have seen them on eBay too...but too expensive for me....sometimes 3 times the original price.
@@f62darkstar It is expensive but the pictures are worth it.
Hi how can I get cartridges for Kodak G610 printer
I have an original NCR Patriot missle from many years ago still new in the box! I don't know if the body tube is out-of-round as it might be because I put it in a shed with a few things on top of it, (how stupid was that)??
Très sympa 👍🏻
Jolie fusée , je viens d’en acheter une , j’ai hâte de l’a construire et de l’a faire voler ✌🏻🚀
Another nice flight. :)..How old is this rocket?
I've had it since 1998
Nice rocket and flight.
Love the sound of the motor.
Nice Louie!
Wonderful and beautiful landing 👍🏻
Quel est le moteur utilisé? D12-3??
I assume you were asking about the engine size?....Yes....D12-3
@@f62darkstar Yes , it is ! Thank you 🚀
Great 🤩
Wow, that's crazy.. Amazing 👍👍👍
Nice flight Lou. This is a nice rocket to have. How high did it go with the H motor?
Thank you ...Not sure...if I was to guess....probably around 1000 feet
@ 3:48 is that a NCR Aerobee Hi 29mm rocket? I have 4 of them from the late 80's. A great flyer. My 1st one I had was my first Mid Power flight with an F20 motor. I roared up and into the clouds an never saw it again. Thanks for uploading this video. Are you on the Rocketry Forum?
no Sir....it is a scratch build.....flew it on a cluster of 3 of the NCR F62 darkstar motors....it later became an upscale of the Estes Citation patriot and turned it back to a single 29mm motor size....3 X 29s gets costly....I am not on the rocketry forum.....but i do admin the Model Rocketry Fanatics facebook page if you are interested
@@f62darkstar Good modifications you did. Yes, 3 F motors are costly. I'm not on facebook, however I do enjoy your videos. It's nice to see someone else like you that flys NCR. Keep them coming. Subbed to you. I do trains too along with rockets. Its hard to get a place to fly and get people to help. This is why I have more train videos than rockets.
@@aerobee58 thank you...I will do my best
Awesome to see these NCR birds. I have a 1987 issue NCR Brighthawk and 4 Aerobee Hi 's. I want to send them up again. Its harder these days to get E,F and G motors in the mail because of the Hazmat charge that I think is ridiculous. Thank you Sir for uploading this great vintage videom of how good is was back then befor 911. Great to see the Archer flying. A beautiful rocket they made.
Thanks...I have all the NCR (by Estes) rockets in my collection and still fly the Archer XL and Patriot....I just recently acquired the Bomarc and built it to make my collection complete, but don't have the nerve to fly it due to how hard they are to get.
@@f62darkstar Yes, the Bomarc is a rare kit to get. You know , I have never had an NCR rockets recovery system fail. NCR did good in there designs. I also have original late 80's NCR kits: Big Brute , Thunderbolt , 2 Brighthawks ,Little Nuke, Replica with the three 24 mm motor mount and 4 Aerobee Hi's. They all still fly.
@@aerobee58 the rear ejection of the NCR Xwing was challenging to pack....the xwing was the only ncr rocket that I crashed
@@f62darkstar I see what you mean. Was the rocket repairable? I crashed a Brighthawk with the strap on boosters. Got a new nosecone and upper tube and fixed it .
@@aerobee58 no it was not....it pretty much disintegrated into a thousand pieces on impact....it was not pretty.....but back then they were readily available so i was able to replace it at a reasonable cost.
i have the same printer but i know how to use it i put it in the charger and camera two but there is no sign
I have the same but I want to print with my computer can you show us how ?
you will need the Kodak easyshare software which Kodak no longer supports....if you still have the CD that came with the printer that is labeled as "easyshare" and your computer still has windows 7 or OLDER....you can load that software and print from your PC......hope this helps.
Is this printer need ink filling or cartridge replace?
Upload more!!
I will when I get back out to the field....I appreciate ya checking them out
Nice launch.
thank you....I miss the old darkstar motors
@@f62darkstar Yes, a telephone dia. trail of black smoke 2000 feet high.
I could see the wind speed from the smoke in the 1st 1/2 sec. It weather cocked and headed for Baghdad.
A little zoom would help.
I'll give er a thumbs up. Good fun.
I think you like rocketry.
a little bit yes
@@f62darkstar I used to go to launch''s and use A thru I motors. Only launch about 1 per year anymore. G power is my favorite. I have maybe 15 G motors and hundreds of the B & C motors that I keep cool and dry. From Indiana I have traveled to Kansas and the Carolina's for LDRS launch's. Kind of miss the hobby.
Just spotted this video. Great launch. I have one like it. Do you still have it?
I do yes......still fly it too.....here is a more recent flight.... ruclips.net/video/ZzmQ3Tlu4-w/видео.html
Reshoot the video, hold the phone HORIZONTAL so it shows up on the computer screen full frame (and get your thumb out of the lens). :)
Oh yeah, nice launch.
thank you
Doesn't get any better than this. Perfection. Beautiful Super Big Bertha.
thank you.....lots of fun that day
What motors?
C6-3....g106 skidmark......g100 skidmark.....g88 smoky sam......d12-3....and f36 smoky sam
Do you still have the rocket?
I do yes.....still fly it once or twice a year
I was there! It was a great weekend.
It was my 1st LDRS....had a lot of fun and it was a well run event.
I miss Darkstar motors.
I do too....they were workhorse little motors.....I fired off dozens of them back then without a single failure....who would have thought that an F motor would lift a 4" diameter rocket.
Jon...yes....it was totally destroyed....I used too long of a delay.....I suggest a G motor....just as a G40 or G80....If you used the motor tube that came in the kit, you may have to remove a coupler layers of cardboard from the inside of the motor tube....The NCR (by Estes) kits had 28.5 mm motor tubes, so a standard G will not fit. Good luck.
Mine needed a new print head also. But now it says paper jam. The problem is that the paper won't feed into the printer. The left side acts like it is being pulled into the printer, but the right side won't pull into it. Do you know where the rollers are on a Kodak esp 3.2? I think they need cleaning.
not sure about the esp3......is it making any grinding noises when it pulls paper in??? it may have a broken gear for that side, which would probably cost more to fix than to replace the printer. Kodak just came out with a new printer called Kodak Verite 55xl that can be bought at Walmart for $70 and the ink is still reasonably priced if you want to stick with Kodak printers.
I just went ahead and threw it away and got me a cannon. I just need it for printing letters and recipes. I had a bunch of ink I just bought for the kodak, but my daughter said she would sell it and I didn't have $70 for the kodak. Thanks for your info.
is it still printing in 2016?
+1ninjatiger as a matter of fact it is....use it almost every day.
mine stopped printing red so Ive just ordered a new printhead. The only thing I hate is the software that stops me finishing off my ink. When it says ink is empty it stops printing when I can probably get many more uses. Wish there was an overide for that
+1ninjatiger I agree....it is annoying.....but I usually try to keep extra ink on hand just in case....it's cheap enough.
I am almost finished building my kit. Going to paint it like the X-Wings from The Force Awakens. Did the one featured here get destroyed? Never saw the chute open. Any advice? I see it takes an F engine. $$$
thanks...I have had the same printer for many years and just learned from your video how to load picture paper and to print a picture...
can you check exactly where the paper got stuck? not sure of the ESP5 printer has a rear access panel that you can remove at the back to look but my friend's ESP3 printer does.
hmm, can u try printing colors like blue, yellow or magenta? my friend's Kodak ESP3 printer which he bought in 2007 still works but doesn't seem to print anything in black anymore - only color.
hey can anybody help me here
hey i am looking for how to remove a paper from a printer.... kodak esp 5200
I have the Kodak 5210 and it prints faster than this but it doesn't have a Usb port for me to plug in a flash drive, or at least I can't find it. lol
what makes kodak crap is the fact that the ink last less than 50 pages
i was very happy with mine until this morning. a piece of paper got stuck in the printer and now it cant do fucking anything cos of 'paper jam'. im fuming
