If you leave Bangalore early in the morning it will take you around 4 to 4.30 hours to reach TVM. The roads are in good condition. However, you need to drive carefully especially on the Krishnagiri-TVM single-lane road. Maintain a speed of 60 to 80 km/h. People are driving insanely.

We went last weekend Route via Dharwad, Ramnagar, Anmod, and Panaji. In a few locations of the Ghats, the roads are terrible, and there is a large pit on the left side with no fence or safety barriers. Drive carefully. When we got there, many trees had fallen some had been cleared, and others had not. Because of the frequent rainfall, I assume there may have been some landslides at the Ghats section. Before traveling, check the road and weather conditions.

If you are traveling from Bangalore, the one-way toll of 125 rupees is only 35 rupees in Hosur and 90 rupees in Krishnagiri. The roads from Krishnagiri to Tiruvannamalai are excellent, therefore there's no need to cross the village In between, there is a new toll that has not yet opened. For better food choices, visit from Hosur to Krishnagiri, where there are multiple hotels on the highway. Krishnagiri to TVM not much, and not great too.

​@@Raaj_ML When I first traveled this route the roads were still in the process of development. However two weeks ago i went back this same route roads are nearly completed. The route from Krishnagiri to TVM roads is single Lane road NH 77. There are no dividers anywhere and you need to drive a bit carefully . Opposite people are coming crazy and people are driving very recklessly.. They have implemented a new toll in this area but it has not yet opened.
