my Bonsaii c169- B paper shredder stopped working last time I used it was 4 months ago and was working and today I tried and red POWER light is blinking and motor is not working. Blades are clean nothing is jammed.
Don’t forget to oil it from time to time, that will help you. The easy way is a few sheets of A4 paper with some oil lightly applied with a pastry brush , nothing fancy or expensive.

Dissapointed thet mt C156-C is now failing after 8 years. Last time I used it it was fine, this time the motor sounds like it's burning itself out even though it works fine. Definitely going to replace it with another bonsaii/bonsen.
Hi I have the same shredder but it keeps turning off and it won’t reverse when I click the button the only thing that keeps it going is that I have to hit it very hard to make it work my hand hurts I got used at American thrift store in Baldwin NY

The owners manual for the C149-D shows oiling the blades directly the paper feed part, then run through a couple of sheets of paper to absorb the excess oil. This way maybe less messy?
