Visual and Performing Arts program at Citrus College (Citrus Arts) encompasses a wide variety of arts programs, certificates, and degrees in the arts. Citrus Community College is a community college located outside of Los Angeles, in Glendora, California.
This channel was created to showcase our program and students. However, when our campus went remote on March 17th, we needed to find a new "stage" for our students. Here you will see that stage, with virtual performances from our performing arts students and virtual gallery showings from our visual arts students. Please subscribe and share with your friends to hopefully brighten their day.

The Blue Note Swing Orchestra at the 50th Anniversary of the Richstone Family Services
Citrus Arts Productions has been working with the Richstone Family Services for many, many years. This year the organization celebrated 50 years and invited the Blue Note Swing Orchestra to perform.

For the last time, Doug Austin, conducted the Citrus Singers at their final Spring Concert in New York City, June 5, 2023. After 38 years at Citrus College, Doug has retired. They are truly great! They played the City of Monrovia 2020 New Year's Eve party. So entertaining, the crowd just loved it. Same sort of music and much more. One of the last songs was one by Led Zeppelin! Another thing I note is that the faces I saw look different, must be a lot more people in the band or a frequent change but it sure does not change to quality of entertainment.

The switch between songs in the middle of this is jarring. I wish the full performances of both of these songs were available, separately. Sad to hear such talent by all involved ruined by lazy editing.
