The last half-hour saved the movie in my opinion. The Nostalgia really kicked in at the end.
You forgot dead rising 2 off the record with frank replacing chuck. With the remake looks like you got your wish, well mine too now i hope they remake 2 and give us 3 on playstation.

Yea they kinda just threw him into the mix. I thought he played a small part in season 3 and I had forgotten about it. I guess he’s a pretty important character from the comics

I don't need you to tell me what the show is about. Just tell me if it's good or not.
I did say if it was good or not in almost under 2 minutes..
It was definitely out of the ordinary but just didn’t work. Could have been epic but it fell short in too many ways. A couple cool original kills and the rest was a walk in the woods, poor acting with even poorer dialogue and story. Ending, there was no ending. Just a boring mess.
So many people seem to like it but i feel like a lot of the “jokes” are forced. It’s trying so hard to be like Superstore yet without the good humour 😅

If u have ever played ark u will not like this. Realistically its closer to 4 out of 10 Writers clearly dont care about about the source material since they wanna devote abut 50% of the screen time to helena's sexual preferences. Rockwell is already evil, instead of an actual desent into evil/ no character development. And no illision of mystery since they already have the ark keys. Ive seen better adaptations on youtube. This a failure Id really would like to understand how u gave it an 8 out of 10, lol Also ur a bad parent if u take ur kid to a protest

I have 1800 hours in ark. There are flaws with the show, but they had to change things. Rockwell is a bummer I’ll totally agree there, but other things like the artifact caves I see why they changed. Nobody wants to sit and watch these characters go through 9 artifact caves. There’s a lot of the story that wouldn’t have translated well at all. I think a 8/10 is fair, but I expected it to deviate from the games story. However saying that 50% of the screen time is devoted to Helena’s sexuality is just wrong. The flashbacks take up maybe 25% of the first episode, there’s almost nothing shoving it down your throat besides the fact that she’s simply gay (which she is in the game) and if she was straight you wouldn’t even have mentioned it in the first place

@@gregbet6948 some people have jobs you know, but I will admit I was wrong. I mixed up her notes with Meiling who is gay in the explorer notes. It seems like they kinda smashed meilings wife into Helena’s story. However I still stand by the fact that I think a lot of the other story changes were necessary to keep the story concise. Also this is only the first half of the show, they may add more intrigue into the show the further we go
straight forward and easy to understand! i will definitely give this tv show a go, thank you!

It is a missed opportunity to be great
I have read the book , and i have seen the Chinese TV series . I just finished watching the Netflix series. I had high hopes and low expetations going into this series , but i quite enjoyed it . The creators have taken a lot of liberies in their adaptation but still manage to tell the basic story . I give it 7 out of 10 . That said , i prefered the chinese mini series. It was much longer , but it stuck more closely to the original text.
U lost me at the original creation of the characters. Have u read books 2 and 3? I dont see a character that’s ‘original’. They are all in the trilogy except they changed character dynamics because the trilogy’s characterization was an utter mess.
Who cares
