@marlonpilott818 if you stay in a area wear it's always warm 20/40 is okay, 10/40 is just for places that have colder morning temperatures, it's initial operating temp is lower than that of the 20/40

Wouldn't say better it's just about better protection for the milage of your car

Change over will be good, the first number is just the starting operation temperature the lower the number the more it's suited for areas that are colder in the morning

It depends what gear you are in, but with the standard exhaust it's very very quiet

Hey brother gosh that car must be super loud if it's straight piped😂 the standard ECU on the Figo can't really be mapped because they self adjust according to Air intake temps. One can pull some timing or add timing but not much unless you running a Unichip but a friend that had that said he had to go to the tuner once ever few months

@BrandanHewitt yeah no it was loud. I actually asked to put a box at the back cause it was a bit too loud. Thanks for the valuable advice. Almost spent quite a bit money doing the remap. Any idea on the cost of performance cams?

As far as I know the cams are about R2-3k but it's also the thing of finding them I know guys on the Figo & fiesta group resell between each other but not sure if you'll find a brand new set. Yea I'm currently running only a resonator, she's loud but bearable at least, does your pop about now around 3k rpm? A tip if you want it to pop loud, slightly hold the clutch down on decell around 4 to 3 km rpm

@BrandanHewitt mine does not pop at all. Not sure how you've managed to get that right. Unless you talking about adding pops and bangs?

Gearbox oil seal isn't that bad because the gearbox only weighs about 70kgs. Exhaust like I said Solly's in Nigel offer great exhaust for a really good price

The exhaust mountings on the older generation is not great and the body does tend to rust in those areas as on mine. Fuel usage is actually very decent my carbs just still needs to be fine tuned the I'll see a better fuel consumption but so far it's better than it was for sure

I haven't had to replace mine, but it's located underneath the rear seat actually very easy bro access just be sure to disconnect battery

This is an OEM Nissan Carb sold from SSS bakkies, but will definitely keep an eye on how it performs

I actually bought a new carb from SSS bakkies they come pretuned and you don't have to make any adjustments, if it still doesn't run proper the timing is off but I also got an electronic distributor

I'll check and make a shorts video about that in the next week or so, just be sure timing is right as well that might be a cause of underpoweredness as well🙏🏻
