They did amazing got having learned the dance in a day. And people do realize that just because Nia is African American it doesn’t make her an expert in African American dance. Abby’s comment was stupid and unnecessary. Also if you look at it Kalani kept looking over at Nia I guess to make sure they were in sync which Nia did not and it looked better to keep dancing than looking over. I thought they did great and When you see the full version you realize how much they had to learn in a day. Most dancers who go to competitions use the same dances over and over that they have practiced for months.

I think this is the second performance they did for the actual completion then the one where Maddie kicked was the one for angles idk because on the show Maddie kicked. I’m confused..

Hmmm, they both made a ton of mistakes in this. This isn't an easy style to learn and the fact that they only had one day to learn it didn't help. Definitely not their best, but for learning it in once day the did a decent job
