The Snowdogs

The Snowdogs is a group of friends who've known each other for a long time 40+ years. We get together every so often and play music for our own enjoyment. We're not trying to be rock stars or compete with any other bands, we play music because we love it. We all went to a trade school and work hard for a living so we're pretty tired at the end of the day. We don't have a lot of time to get together and make videos so please don't waste your time pointing out our mistakes, we know it's not perfect & don't care what you think. We like playing covers of our favorite bands from our teen years, most of which are challenging and require some chops. We started playing our instruments in the late 70's early 80's and learned the hard way by playing along to albums by Black Sabbath, Rush, Iron Maiden, Led Zeppelin and many others. Here we have Steve on bass, His son Sam on guitar and Jay's daughter Katie on drums. Sam can't sing the Rush anymore but He's been learning the guitar. Jay's daughter Katie takes after her Dad & Grandfather, She's got drumming in her blood. It's hard for us old guys to keep up with them with the amount of energy they have...I think they did a great job and we gotta pass the torch to the younger...

This 3 piece is Jammin Like a mofo...you guys just nailed it. Drummer thundering with incredible fills the WHOle time like Bill Ward ..Bass just rumbling thru Geezer lines like its nothing. Wow dude. Awesome . Guitar player riffing tf outta Tonys lines and singing Ozzy...simply awesome cover guys. RIGHT ON.

The old men rock almost as good as the kid. I’m an old man too and these covers are just ridiculous fun to watch. Glad to see this music being enjoyed by guys who can really play it right. Just killer. More please.

Fantastic! Not gonna lie, I'm jealous of the vocalist able to seemingly hit those high notes so comfortably, all while standing there casually looking like he's in line waiting to check out at Home Depot or something, haha.
That was awesome. This song brought back memories of my H.S. days back in the 80s , playing bass in a basement band. We never really did anything more beside songs for ourselves and Rush was one of the bands we played.
