My opininon Caroline is their mother because she carried them in her stomach and she gave birth and she raised them its also jo but caroline is their birth mother.

Out of all three of the girls renesme is the only one that prefers to ONLY drink blood. The twins aren't even vampires. They were just magically placed in Caroline's womb and she was basically a surrogate. Hope is the most powerful of the 3 because she is a miracle tribrid and when she activates her vampire side she'll still be able to keep her magic. Renesme may or may not be able to conceive. The author isn't very clear about that but since hope is like her father it is very likely that she would still conceive because of her werewolf side. I still prefer the tvdu universe because those vampires don't sparkle.

Lizzies angry side is from Caroline before vampire and Lizzies good side is like Caroline after becoming a vampire . If that makes sense
