During the whistle tests in the 80s and 90s, Titanic’s whistle was sounded on compressed air, not steam. So that would’ve been the voice of titanic. This, however, would’ve been the sound of her sister, the Olympic (hell, maybe even the britannic idk).

Definitely is a White Star due to the way the White Star Buff paint went with the Black and White. Could be Nomadic or Traffic, but those are far to small. Like what @cunard61 said, it is most likely a twin-funnel or a single-funnel ship.

The reason Queen Mary and Normandie sounded different because the model is different, Queen Mary had Kockums Tyfon 575 while Normandie has Leslie Tyfon 575, all though its made by same company but different model.

It's stuff like this that makes me understand why Oceanliners often had such grandiose names like "Olympic" and "Imperator." These are the voices of steel behemoths, who broke speed records and competed at the cutting edge of science, in a time before mankind figured out how to fly and cars were still in their infancy. It's so cool to hear these old titans roar.

Guys don't mistakenly think Olympic and Normandie whistle mix, this is Olympic 1934 whistle and Olympic 2010 whistle mix, you can hear the loud version is lower tone.

This whistle sound is from Olympic 1934 and Olympic 2010 whistle, so sound like so loud from closer. The recorder isn't from Olympic class, it's from Adriatic class from RMS Baltic.

What kind of fan motors were used for the video my guess is a celing fan motors but I'm not sure but from what I know about celling fan motors they buzz at different frequencies.

Even 60Hz computers have a lower voltage rate than the 50Hz computers have a higher voltage rate.
