Very nice little short documentary. Thank you so much for making it and sharing it. Subscribed.
Great memories of all the theaters.
3:25 bad example. Bourne (& taken incidentally) have the worst over compensating for untrained actors playing tough guys at all by far in any martial arts fans opinion. Shaky cam, over edited, too close, constantly shifting angles to confuse you, bad lighting & staging of both wearing similar clothes & unable to tell who’s who & obviously like Marvel cgi-fest the stuntman does anything actually cool on screen. Bourne & taken, as well as crouching tiger & matrix weightless fights completely staged & feel so fakey
I love Shaw, Golden Harvest & Tony Jaa Thai films, uwais, Scott Adkins & jai white
The Ambassadors. My spot was near the left aisle just in front of the upper gallery where somebody would inevitably dong you on the noggin with a well aimed jaffa. The artdeco Piccadilly with the lady in the mirror inside the entrance foyer. Some wonderful films and some good memories from younger days.
Good job bro on this.........out here in California in the 80s we used to have Kung Fu Theater at the old Crest in downtown Sacramento and man as a teenager we used to LOVE to go for a dollar...........1 US dolar is all you needed for all day Kung Fu Films where folks would qoute the film outloud especially Enter the Dragon!!!!! I am still sceptical off these guys as I feel they went against Bruce Lee because he would not do film for their studios...........might be wrong but there is too many unanswered questions surrounding my mans untimely death..............
