you could get a talon mag and short darts, then make it feed from the bottom. you can friction fit the talon mag with a tab. you might need to make the pusher arm longer

2 things to make it much better. 1. use a lipo or nimh battery pack... you can get much better performance off of it for a lot less space. 2. use half darts to trim down more space. then you can just make it accept talon mags (geometry is really easy to just find anywhere... 3. use existing flywheels for better performance and reliability. 5. I can't bloody count

One thing you could do if you want to use a electronic trigger you can use a blinker module for a car (stay with me here) because all it does is activate a electrical signal over and over. Hook that up to a simple solenoid, and you have full auto! If you put a dual stage switch before is and wire that up bypassing the blinker you will be able to switch from full auto to semi auto!

Pro-tip when designing screw holes: Make the top part a loose fit hole (make the hole bigger than the screw threads) and only have the threads engage with the bottom part. This will save you time and stop the parts from splitting apart as you screw both together.
