This channel started out to provide a workaround for running Think or Swim on Apple Silicon Macs but I've added other tech videos since then. Some of them relate to Fidelity's Active Trader Pro as I use both platforms for trading. The main reason for the channel is now tech support on Macs but I will also talk about Windows, trading, running shoes, buying and selling Macs and working out in general.
Active Trader Pro on MSI Raider 16 14900HX : RTX 4070
I bought an MSI Raider 14900HX/4070 laptop for someone else but got to spend an hour with it to see how well it runs Active Trader Pro. It runs it buttery smooth but battery life is not good. It's an option for those that always have a power outlet available.

Fidelity has been giving away free TurboTax Premier to some customers for many years but they usually release it around mid-January and many buy TurboTax in December to get an early start on it. I'm just keeping an eye on the home page for when it drops.

I recommend Better Display to create virtual displays now. There is a workaround at the Github project but you have to build the project from source code and most people won't have the skills to do that. The video gets chopped at the end but the rest isn't needed.
UTM Windows 11 ARM Currently Broken

The install can fail with a display drivers error on Windows and Linux. There are workarounds that some have said that they got working though I wasn't able to get any of them to work. What I did was use an older version of UTM.

I was just taking a walk where I'm more accustomed to seeing bunnies and this guy was just chilling (it was 29 degrees out) and let me take pictures of him from relatively close up before flying into a tree and then taking off from there.

Different Montitor Connection Times on Multimonitor Macs

If you have a multimonitor setup on your Mac, particularly with mixed monitors, then they may connect to your Mac in differing amounts of time and this can result in it taking a long time to get to your login screen or windows moving to different monitors. So my recommendation is to stick the monitor that connects the fastest to your main monitor.

Startup times are consistent on the three macOS platforms that I tried and it's dependent on CPU strength - the way it should be with native programs.
