M1A2 SEP Tank Commander

this video shows what it looks like inside of an M1A2 SEP V2 from the tank commanders position.
same
most ppl judge him for reloading slow but irl can you load a 50 pound round continuedly over and over while sweating or cold and i thank our service man for this country
No sidearm ?
Well this is training so I don’t think they need it Or they are just making it easier for them to move around
Remember to spec you crew points
How is that ammo door operated? Is it manual from a button or opens and closes automatically when breech opens/closes?
There's a knee switch just under the door. You bump it with your knee and it opens the door
He’s not fail he’s learning
He's learning, so this isn't a fail. This isn't at an actual unit, this is his AIT. He doesn't have a unit patch on his left shoulder. Bet he loads them rounds like a champ now. I think this video is just meant to be click bait lol
omg ... old russian t72 has autoloader 😮
I'm sorry but how do you miss the breech?
slow pow, #19karmorcrewmen.
Yet in war thunder we have constant reload speed at flat 5 seconds on abramsds 💀💀💀
I'm onlye here for the spiffy uniforms
a 40lbs(18kg) round
Inside of the level 14 player M1 clickbait:
They always said that tanks are cramped and can make you claustrophobic. I don't see anything saying the word "cramped" here.
Looks like he was learning, that last shell loaded was smooth
The inside sounds like a tornado siren
Il mio servente ricarica a in 3 secondi sulla Blindo Pesante armata Centauro B1, correva l'anno 1994
T.P.T.😊😊😊😊😊
We all had our first day at one point
Not a loader fail. Baby loader growing up right here.
At least he did not blew up the turret
Damn, I missed those days. I have to say I never had a tank turret looking that clean before, ever! 💥
Were those SABOT rounds ? Ive never seen an ejected casing like that before
its HEAT
The first time I loaded the tank the guy didn’t tell me to use my first. So I pushed it in with my fingers and the damn thing nearly ate my fingers if I didn’t move my hand back fast enough. It’s like feeding a horse. It bites.
He learns quickly! Very good on the last load!
Where does the shell go?
Slow Loader We'd be Dead in Combat, that's why it's called Training. Get him to the side and have a TALK to the Young Man 🤺
50% crew vs 110% in world of tanks
He is learning quickly. You could see a slight improvement with each reload. He still had a long way to go, though.
you load quick but in the tank im in they want 7 or less. but your doing pretty well nice job keep up the hard work
I knew that little people live in the radio, but that there are also in tanks - that I didn't know.
Stand clear
You need to be in good physical shape for this job.
Garbage tanks using manual loaders, not only is it extremely toxic for the crews, "majority dying of cancer now" itrs ineffective on the modern battlefield
So as a safety measure, the sharp edges around the end of the gun, why not put something like padding/cushion around them?
This is probably one of his few times in the tank. he doesn’t have any patches, which means he’s in AIT
I see incompetence. I was a 45Kilo. Armament repairer. I served at Fort Hood and was trained at APG in MD. And these piss poor excuses for combat troops are ate up like a soup sandwich. Our enemies are Thrilled that America would send such incompetent slackers. I spent 3 plus years as the Jedi when it came to repairing the M1A1 and M1A2 Abrahams main battle tank. I went to Training on the M1A2 just prior to re-enlisting to be a biomedical engineer. Watching piss poor aptitude during a gunnery just reinforces how weak our military has become. A bunch of woke punks now serve.
Click bait?
Such nice comments in here. Me personally, am weak as hell. That pivot motion sucks and the tank motion as well? Oh boy, tough stuff. But why not have the ammo stored in a way where all he needs to do is ram it in instead of a flip?
Me
At 46 seconds what they said? Sound like Ukrainian. Davai derjhi/get ready to hold Levo levo/left left So USA was preparing for in Ukraine for long time
was this a combat or a training footage?
You load slow my guy. Move with a purpose.
This is a 120mm after all guys
He just needs more muscle
someday USA can copy t-64 or other old NATO autoloader and will have a decent tank.
No!!!
No we would much rather keep the crew safe and waste those 1-2 seconds for crew survivability
That gas mask looks good
Damn how did you do that
I was waiting for him to drop a round while trying to load
