This is amazing, been listening to Dude Ranch for the last 2 weeks, every single day, and you know how a particular song will stand out when you listen to an album that you love over and over again….its this song. This song is a banger
if you know any blink history, they ‘figured out how to write a song’ with Dammit, the band they themselves said this. Enthused is one of the last pre-Dammit or pre-Enema songs where they had unorthodox song structure.

3:00 , what does he do with only 1 bass drum? does it hit with some effect technique?
I think it’s called "tip and toe" or something. It allows him to hit double strokes with a single foot while other drummers would be using a double bass. It’s pretty much a standard in 2023 but back in the 90’s it was something proper to punk-rock drummers, especially when it came to Skank beats.
I always thought Tom was the soul of Blink, albeit he was no Eddie Van Halen

My sister got me into blink when I was ten years old. It was right after she saw them on this tour, they played a club called Peabody’s at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront. And she would reference that show constantly. I’ve seen them four times, never once in an intimate setting like this. In context of seeing them live; that’s all I ever wanted, and I know it’ll never ever happen. This is the first tour with Travis, and seemingly the last string of shows for a very very long time where they weren’t closing with Dammit. This tour is mythology to me.
Must have been hard for them to reach certain parts of their guitar with it hanging so low. I guess Jimmy Page and Steve Clark had the same issue

They’re exactly the same. The snares are just tuned differently, have different drum heads, and the sound quality in this video is better. Both are the same speed and accuracy.
