How to Become a United States Army Aviator

Key Points:

Then you will either need to become a Commissioned Officer or a Warrant Officer.
Now you get to go to flight school and you will learn to fly helicopters in the UH72 and then you will finish flight school flyi...

I’m confused, you said you started flying with the military in 2018 but became an airline pilot in 2021. At the same time you say it’s a 10 year contract if you fly with the military. Can you explain?

Dude I didn’t get a fucking thing you just said😂 but for the rest of you fuckers in the comment section this path only works if you’re an officer in the military with a college degree! I know for a fact the avg person looking to be a pilot probably don’t have a college degree! Which in you no longer need to be a commercial pilot in the civi world.

I don’t think this is good enough reason to not do it, with the increase in demand a lot of these challenges won’t be as tough and if you really want it and still aren’t satisfied with the money then you have free time to work on side projects I hate seeing flight RUclipsrs trying to chase away the youth

I am 37 years old, and currently, I work in the healthcare field and make a decent wage to put in savings and invest. However, it was never my dream. I keep going back to make a change and start my pilot career. My question is, is it a good decision to become an airline pilot with zero experience at my age? Even thought I make nice decent money with only working 40 hours a week?

Every job has hypothetical outcomes from external factors. Sounds like there are too many candidates vying for pilot positions, and this is sending downward pressure on salaries, and career opportunity choices. What is the span of time needed to advance from 1st officer to Captain. Are most American pilots locked out of overseas positions since many Euro airlines require two or more fluent languages among its workforce?

I was wondering how much the Air Force funds for u to gain licences and how long you’d have to stay in the military for??
