Currently playing with S Log 3 at the moment my friend. Wanting to delve a little deeper into grading as I've always struggled with it. I'm going to have a proper play with DaVinci for the first time in awhile so we'll see. It's a journey right? Trying to leave my perfectionism at the door and be a little more experimental. FX3 is a beast. Hope ur good man x
Yeah I get ya. A lot of what I do clients are wanting fast turnaround so they choose S-Cinetone for convenience. Resolve is amazing and has me v excited for the future. We've moved completely off Avid MC to all on Resolve now, still use a bit of iZotope RX because it's just got the edge still, but yeah, viva la Resolve haha! Dipping my toe into Fusion a bit now too. Defo my biggest weakness. But yeah, very thankful to say the years have been good to. Me and the near future looks to be hopeful too :)
Ooof. That hits a little hard. You've captured so many aspects of grief.
I made it as my MA dissertation piece. When we were assigned the brief I initially struggled, that was until my tutor said the following.. "Look at it this way, when the film is made, the only person who's name should be on that film is yours, you are the only person who is able to make what you make, that's it." and thats all I needed to hear, I knew I had this story to tell, its personal, its a moment in my life. I'm glad it made u feel the way it did.

@@lifeofaled I just think you are really talented and should do more videos and really express your self more in longer videos. I know how long editing takes but you seem talented enough to get through that process. I mean obviously if you are just uploading every now and again for whatever then it doesn't really matter but if you are doing it with purpose then you should let it be known if that makes sense.
@@SpikeyOfficial My intention in moving forward is to certainly upload more on the regular, perhaps even weekly. Though films like this one take months to produce but videos like the ones I've been uploading more recently you should expect on the reg!

This is why when people get exactly what the want, it won't always be enough and there will always be a feeling of wanting more. Reaching nirvana is the antidote to impermanence. Does the paint rub off from use? I did a similar thing and mine keeps rubbing off. Are you using a specific paint or primer? How many coats are you doing? So many questions. I am suffering. I just want to be cool
I'm so sorry this comment is coming back to you so late.. The paint rubbed off a little.. it's 5 year later and it still looks great! I guess it depends on the quality of the paint and how well you put it on.. I definitely didn't do it right.
